ok, Ive heard of the AIP....is this it?? If so I got it today, this after my status was DM

"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have met these requirements.
Yes, this is AIP, congratulations!

We got that about a month ago and since then not a word or any change at all in our status on the online tool, just says "decision made" for sponsor, and "application received" for applicant. Another week gone by and no changes. Early April 2016 applicant here.

wow, was hoping for something to finally be happening...some changes this week were: we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements, additional documents you provided are being reviewed, and both sponsor status and my status (applicant) went to decision made...we are early June 2016 applicants

So you got SA and AIP. Next step is the DM letter. It will be something like:
We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in (your local CIC office) Immigration will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application.

The letter also had said recommended strongly to pay the RPRF fee as soon as possible, which we did. Guess more waiting, but to put the stress in perspective I noticed a thread with a few people still waiting that applied in 2015.

You're waiting for a landing interview time. What area of Canada?

It was fun though... The boy really was into it...hard to keep his focus (it was literally right after a huge tantrum...like less than 5min)
