They do applications in order they receive it but not everyone works at the same pace.
All sorts of things can happen.
People work slow
Person who has your file has many other files
They can go on vacation and continue working on your file when they return
Some specific stuff in your application is taking longer than usual to process.

Just a few of possible causes. Ive been using the system since 2011 and have learned alot between now and then. Just took me a long time to find this forum where there is lots of useful information.

If you want to know whats happening with yiu file you can always call them if you reside in Canada.
Thanks for your reply... I think I'm still in the usual processing time as I read somewhere in this forum that they are processing April 2016 applications. And yeah, this forum is really useful.

That might be a good idea, where can I find the number for CIC for inland sponsorship query...

ive checked myCIC and got the same change as other people. but didnt receive any email from CIC. And I have called the clinic and want to make an appointment for medical just in case, but after they searched my UCI number and said cant do the medical for me because they couldnt find any message for me on the system. so i think that is the system's bug.

Just Checked my CIC and there's some changes made in my account.

Review of additional Documents - From N/A to We do not Need Additional Documents

and the new line came up which is Biometrics and shows - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes

The rest is still the same: In process/ In progress / Passed the Medical exam.

Any idea on this? thank you

Yes thats the new update they did this morning.

But they are fixing the issues some people are experiencing regarding the wrong info inside their online account
 
No she just told me that there was no request for additional documents. She indicated that if there was a request that she would see it on her system.

I still do not know if I 100% believe her since she works at the call center. :confused:

She had never even heard that there was a problem with the system. So either she just got to work or she was sleeping on the job.

Before I got through to a live person I did send a CSE to advise them that I had not received any message for additional information and that MyCIC indicated that there was a request for additional documents.

Maybe my MP will figure it out. I hope.

I finally talked to an agent and she didnt give me any normal answer. She just said that that is a known issue that people dont get correspondence in their account. She said it can be that they send me a message for additional documents but I just didnt receive it yet. And that I check later today or tomorrow. She doesnt think it is a mistake. :(

Where might I get it? I constantly check my email that I have provided and also the ECAS. Where can I possibly get the medical request?

Most likely you will receive it in your email account? You should also check your junk mail frequently. It should come in the Principal applicant email but you should check the sponsor email as well.
Did they tell you how long ago they requested the medical?

MyCIC now online and it is still showing that "We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details." There is no message still.

The only new message is the message when I reported the technical issue this morning.

You can try calling, but sounds like an issue with myCIC that others are reporting...

Lately, ECAS has been gospel. Whatever it said is considered golden...
