So, here we sit waiting for Service Ontario to update the missus' OHIP account. I thought I would share our landing story. There is a couple on BCC, so whoever wants to share it first, by all means the forum can know we landed and, Dr No didn't detain me...

So we get there at 830. They buzz us in (door is locked.... they have a video intercomm) and ask for passport and proof of RPRF payment. It becomes obvious that they perform landings en mass as about 10 other couples/singles show up.

They call us up, ask to check COPR, tells her that it's a critical document and keep it for your whole life, standard common questions about crime, dependents, refused entry or asked to leave Canada. Print sign and date. Welcome to Canada. Update SIN on Monday, update OHIP. Have an awesome weekend. We were outside Service Ontario when the church bells rang 9am.

We are hoping you all land soon. I know it's coming.

my husband was cool through the whole 17 month process and I am neverous when we were done landing interview last Friday April 28 I cried in the car and can relax

i at getting soooo frustrated here,did my Medicals March 25 2017, and it hasn't bn updated....I just spoke to an agent now and she said my Medicals is not on file...I really don't know what that means, do I call the panel physician to send the Medicals again or just keep holding on.....

call them do you have a recipet normally it has an ime numbe

I would try to contact the panel physician and asked if he sent it or not. And in any case, whether he can send it again as CIC tells you they don't have it on your file.

If I were you I would call the medical examiners office. I think the med request says it has to be submitted in 30 days or there is a chance of refusal.

Like carol said, you should have the ime number from when you did the medical, and a receipt.

Did you ask if the medical examiner was eMedical enabled? I would just call them and inquire if they submitted it. I was told it only takes about 10 days or so.

Of course, with CIC it may take longer. Not sure if anybody else has had the same problem as you.

I just called now and they sent it 28th of March,she said I should upload the information sheet I got from them to cic website,maybe they can track with that....what do I do?

I would upload it through your CIC my account explaining the situation as they suggested, then wait a little bit like Carol said and give CIC a call if they don't respond.
