It was her assistant...
My alternate means of contacting them she noted would be IRCC ( useless ..just tried and was told the call volume is too high)

Will simmer down to my original plan of waiting until Cinco de Mayo before becoming annoying and pushy ( Will in the mean time ask the MP office for a Kitchener contact number)

Did she ask you any questions?

Sad part -- Marwan == awesome when it comes to IMM stuffs.... Why you cannot contact the other MP's offices, makes me crazy...

Answer: "Yeah, about 20 times and every time I try, it's always 'We are experiencing a high number of calls and we cannot transfer your call to an agent, good bye''"...

Now this is what I am peeved at, rather than getting some more information, she just shoved you off. And for her to mention contacting IRCC directly means she has no clue because we all know that the call center is difficult to reach and a lot of times, clueless. >:(

OK

Here is what you do...
#Profiler_Class_Is_In_Session

You call Marwan's office. (519-571-5509). Tell Marwan's Communications Officer (secretary) that you have tried contacting your MP's constituency office, but they are less than helpful.

You have SA, AIP, and DM from IRCC, but they seem to have forgotten you for booking an appointment, and you cannot seem to reach their call centre, as they were 'experiencing a high number of calls, please call back' and you were just looking at getting some help to figure out where you might be for booking your landing appointment. You need to book time off work, etc.

Could they please help you out.

Dollars to donuts they will tell you that you should call the other office, BUT, you have told them that you tried and were shrugged off. That would probably mean Marwan's office would try to help ...

CSIS / International Intel partners (Security) is done processing 3-6 months. This also tends to be included in the BG check (in case they decide they want to have a covert intel agent retrace your steps).

RCMP / Interpol (Criminality) can be done in the blink of an eye. I had an RCMP check done on me a few months ago... I think I mentioned it. Faster than their debit machine could process my debit payment, they were done generating the police certificate (that includes local and CPIC queries).

EC's are expected to "enrich" Canada, verses the spousal's which may or may not.... Canada targets talent who can strategically grow the economy. PGP's are the boat anchor, as a large majority of them end up only dragging on the system.

I wouldn't worry, you're almost done :)

He didn't have OHIP before??? Why would his union care?

If he didn't have OHIP before, that makes total sense. There is a waiting period before you can use it. We already waited that out...

Wifey has OHIP. We intend on walking into Service Ontario and letting them photocopy the COPR and let them send her a new card after her two year time is up on that one (or send a new one now -- up to them!) They won't bother changing the number, or issuing a new account.

Thanks Profiler, I also observed an FBI check (NRT) in my GCMS notes way back in Dec, but the BG check is still on.
