one of my friend emailed me a request for Schedule A.they got today:

You must place a printed copy of this correspondence on top of your submission when submitting it to
IRCC.
The principal applicant (and all family members 18 years or older) is required to submit a police
certificate(s) from the:
• The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18;

The onus is on you to satisfy the processing officer that you are not ineligible or inadmissible and can
therefore become a permanent resident.
why would a request for "all family members above 18" require to submit police certificate?
(she is applying inland and is the only person being sponsored)

I couldn't offer a reasonable response to her question why "The onus is on you to satisfy the processing officer that you are not ineligible or inadmissible and can
therefore become a permanent resident."
Any thought?

Read this again, but read it this way:
"If you are the only person who is being sponsored, then you need to submit a PCC if you have not submitted one. If you have any dependants that are older than 18 that are being sponsored, they must also submit PCC's, if they have not already done so."

It's written in governmentese that is a form letter... "If you didn't submit a PCC, it's time to."

So, I do know they are really very busy. And I do want all of my 2015 and 2016 friends to finish their cases quickly. I also know that we have to wait for a RMO to approve the medical, then the "Officer" takes over and decides, and updates the file, sends it off to Kitch. This does take time. At the same time, you can't help but feel like the impatient little kid...

I want to be able to book the time off, We have parties to plan, alcohol and other provisions to acquire, a trip to Moscow for the wife to plan, etc. We can't do this without dates..

I do wonder where our resident party-planner went.... Maria seems to be MIA...

Umm which time? :-[

CIC requested IMM5406 and IMM5669 on 2nd June 2016 but never received the batch e-mail. Only realized that wanted them when I ordered my GCMS notes and so I sent a CSE asking them to resend the e-mail. I sent them in Sept 2016 before I got the resent e-mail.

Then CIC requested IMM5406 and IMM5669 again in October 2016 and then CIC requested IMM5406 and IMM5669 again in Jan 2017. Seems I was leaving areas blank and when I was providing additional information on separate sheet I was not copying the columns as they were on the forms. Sent them to Profiler to check the last time I sent them in to make sure that they were done correctly. Have not heard from CIC since then. :-[

I think if we had submitted our application in 2017 it would have been returned. :o

Oh no I know that part...remember I'm one of the patient ones.

I was thinking more along the lines of dedicating the day to those from previous years/months with no movement or word from CIC ( Say November 2015- Jan 2016 ?? )

Don't do it. It's like looking at old boyfriends' pictures in the photo album... then you will want to dig up the voodoo doll effigy you made of them to continue the torture...

Let the old boyfriend contact you...then you know for sure he wants you back (and this is where the effigy comes out :) ).
