I applied in January 2016. Received medical request in end of January 2017 and submitted new medical two months back, after that no email or mail receive from CIC. Its showing on status as
Sponsorship Application Status - Decision Made
Permanent Residence Application Status- Application Received
Is there anyone who applied in January and submitted medical and waiting ??
I would really appreciate all comments

I am a Jan applicant too, got my SA, then after they requested medical, it was submitted to them on March 20 and on 24th it was confirmed that I've passed. Since then heard nothing from them - no DM, no landing interview :

When did you receive your OWP and how ling did it take?
I applied in August with my sponsorship application and I didnt recceive yet,everytime I call they ask for a document and last ti,e in March they wanted me to apply for Restoration and new fee.

I received my OWP in three months.

It may be slowed up in Etobicoke, if it was sent there for further assessment..

@GuyanaGirl: I submitted the medical yesterday. They still have not accepted the results. I wonder what might be wrong...

spoke with CIC agent a few weeks ago, she told me that they are trying to finalize everything by July. Not sure how do they calculate that, but its nice to have some bit of info

That little piece of information tells me for sure it was redirected to Etobicoke. Eventually you will probably land there. So perhaps they have sent it early.

From what I can see, Jan applicants should be all but done now. They are working on March. All outward signs and signals that I have, our case has been approved, and they were just waiting for a valid medical to issue the approval and a landing interview. We are March 2nd 2016.

SO -- in a FIFO, January should come before March. Unless I missed the memo on the change in Calendar direction..
