The interview is literally a couple simple questions (convicted of a crime in Canada, any dependents anywhere that are not declared, have you ever been denied entry into Canada, etc), they sign your paper, and submit for a PR Card. They welcome you to Canada, and you're off to get a SIN, health care, and to get blinding drunk.

The questions at this interview is not intended to be a test -- you can't fail it.

How do you guys get to sprak to an agent at CIC call centre? Everytime I called I can never get through. Always busy .

The number I use is 18882422100. I would like to check on my application. Is that the correct number for doing that?

If you're in Canada, it's 888-242-2100

Then after they offer the option to speak french, 1 - 1 - 3 - 1. If you have the application number, you can actually check online too...

Yes I am in Canada and I do have the application number. I checked online and no updates. Wanted to speak to an agent personally to see what's up. But never got through

Call at 8am Eastern, or at 12pm Eastern. I found that to be the best times.

But I will save you some irritation: the call centre will basically tell you what is listed in ECAS. They can't do too much else....

I did medical upfront. And on mycic it says medical received. No other requests from them.

I am in Toronto. No travel.

I just checked the link you just sent me. Entered my husband's info instead of mine.

Under sponsor it says "Decision made" (what does that mean?)
Under mine is says application received

You have Sponsorship Approval (SA), and probably either have AIP too, or you are just being assessed for eligibility. So, you're nearing completion!

Also under sponsor application it says they started processing the application since April 23 2016
