Guys i just called CIC regarding my OWP ...entered my application number for OWP and the automated recording system said my case is closed and the application was approved.> thank god for this. I have been waiting since Sept 30th. Passport info was requested March 7th to continue processing OWP and it was sent. Hopefully i receive in hand soon...

OK ONE MORE TIME lmao.. My mail box is full of Notifications from this thread,, I have tried to turn off notifications as I am constantly reading what yall post DAILY anyway !!

PLEASE someone inform me as to how to TURN OFF THE E-mail notifications

I looked under my profile, Notifications- and I thought I had unchecked the notification Tab.. HELPPPPPPPPPPPP

Send it in so they get it May 26th. Do this by courier. Make sure you fill it out "properly" and that you include the payment ($255). They won't issue it, but you will basically be under implied status (worker) until they "decide" (which will be your PR and not your OWP).

thanks profiler... last question! do you know how long it will take for Renewal? or its is a same process like 4 months? and what do i need to show my Employer that i am waiting for my renewal of OWP... (currently workinhg)... thank you dear! adnave happy birthday for us!

Just a FYI,,if your over nighting anything to CIC don't use Puralator
Thought id share this info just in case....

Purolator Canada has stopped accepting shipments ahead of a strike deadline Wednesday issued by the union representing some of the courier's employees.

Teamsters Canada issued the 72-hour strike notice Sunday after the majority of its more than 8,000 members who work for Purolator voted to reject the company's final offer.
Purolator said in a statement that the company will try its best to deliver shipments already in its network, but delays could occur.

The company said it would not take any new packages until further notice.

Long time off this thread and not going to read them all to catch up but update on my application is that I applied February 2016 and I just got a letter today saying that my application has been looked at and they sent another letter stating that the IRCC will be in contact to say when the appointment for a face to face meeting will be

It is the CIC centre in Edmonton, does anyone know roughly how long between getting that letter and then getting the appointment letter took?

Does it say "we are pleased to advise you that processing is now complete"? Or that they will complete processing at the interview?

Did they ask you to bring anything?
