Thank you for this. I did not receive any email yet, hopefully soon... at least they are now working on 2016 applicants. What documents/proofs of relationship did you include in your application before when u applied? why are they asking for more proofs? how are you going to respond to their email? what proofs are u intending to submit? sorry, I ask too many questions. I am little worried they might ask me of more proofs too, and if in case, I don't know what else to give them as I have provided them everything I got... joint bank account, photos, notarized letters from family and friends, insurance policies where I am the beneficiary, proof of address, etc...

Hopefully yours will be alright, keep being positive...

our journey started on December 15,2015 and like i am the sponsor, my husband is the PA plus we have an immigration laywer so they would contact her and she would send my things in and on March 6 2017 they send this email to her about his request of proof of relationship to continue on. my husband Pr application so we asked her why she is like this routine and to see if your still together plus on March 10,2017 they gave me my SA. next Tuesday seeing the lawyer we will give her proof to send in and pay the 490 rrpf we have good feeling plus they asked for my step son medical which he did it was like €700

So, from yesterday's discussion, apparently they do not need more proofs from us. They are ready to make their final decision once they have the medical. Sad part: Kitchener cannot accommodate until April 12th. Also, we paid the RPRF when we filed the application. So, waiting for the medical is killing me (not her -- she's happy it's basically done)...

Went to MP too, and of course, got no answer right away, they said they call MP office back in a few days...

They don't call you?? Kitchener South - Hesepler's MP calls back as soon as she has noted anything new on the file... Definitely going to vote for this chap again.

Open Question: The lady who has been helping us has a contract ending -- what do you think is appropriate for a "Thank you, and good luck" gift? Besides the obligatory message to the MP himself notifying the very positive and helpful experience from her....

Looks like they're working 24/7 now Found this for a job requirement for case processing agent "PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORKING SCHEDULE OF THE MAJORITY OF THE POSITIONS TO BE STAFFED ARE SHIFT WORK INCLUDING 4PM TO 12AM (MIDNIGHT) AND FROM 12AM (MIDNIGHT) TO 8AM. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE, WILLING AND ABLE TO DO WORK SHIFTS ON A ROTATIONAL BASIS. "

Where did you find this?? Thinking about immigration work?

This is the second post I have seen like this. Someone else posted in the 2015 thread a landing invitation letter that states 1am as a landing time.... I thought maybe a typo??

POINT IS I WASNT ON WELFARE.DOES ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS?

Weird. What region are you in again? Maybe someone (the region you are in) is reporting that you have collected it, and they didn't close the file?? I would just bring a recent pay statement. Question answered.

has anyone`s TRV visa application been cancelled? After receiving my OWP I applied for a visa just in case if I have to travel. After long waiting period (it says 10 days for online applications on the website) I received a message saying that my application was cancelled. Not refused, but cancelled. that`s weird. and the reason they say is : "Our records indicate that you have already been issued a document by CIC valid until Nov 2018.
well, that`s my OWP , not a visa, This was for a visa application. I dont understand what`s going on here. Any insight? Any number that i can call? thanks in advance.

If I was to guess? Are you from a visa-requiring country? If not, they felt there was no need. If you are, they cancelled in error.

It is more than likely that you submitted the wrong application/form. The correct forms are IMM 5721 and IMM 5257 (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp?countrySelect=CA#applications).

Are these the forms you used?

There is always more than one person. So, collectively they wanted more details. That said, sounds like you have given them lots.
