Noooo. You pretty much want to avoid one of those if you can. Though in our case, we are not fearful of them. If they want to know what size my kids clothes are, what colour my toothbrush is, or what side of the bed I sleep on, it's not an issue.

They do ask a few questions to make sure the material facts of the application are the same. Yes you bring your invitation with you, and when you leave, they give you a COPR and send away for your PR Card.

Well in that case, I don't want one of those at all....that's quick though....for them to have gone through the package or maybe during some kind of initial screening.

Salty? That's Tuesdays... because that was the day ECAS used to be updated by lunch. And this guy would want to break stuff after seeing it not updated for months and months.

Since I called in our MP over an ATIP problem at CIC, we were told not to bother checking with the tools -- they are annoying. The MP's communications officer calls at regular intervals to CIC to find out where stuff is at (BTW -- CIC notes when you do that in your GCMS Notes.... I found out....).

Correct is right, don't want that....I highly doubt I will come to that any how

I mean....I have no qualms about interviewing about the validity of our relationship if the pictures documenting 10 years together, the 2 year age gap and frequent visits/vacations for 5 years while i was a student here just didn't cut it ...

yup...that's salt :-X

Sailor-profiler starts at around 6:30am eastern. Just a heads up. This forum has more than a few times actually redacted some words, like *censored word*, for me.

Usually relationship interviews are because there is a huge gap between applicants, cultural differences, marriages of convenience, etc. They want to understand the relationship.

That said, they might be a facebook user.

They are a Facebook user and thier interview went well. Just a waiting game now. Both asked a series of questions in separate rooms.

It's extended now as i believe with the "speeding up" process there might be things that pop up that will unleash the fury of a 10000000 questions by the applicants waiting...

2 years is nothing. My wife and I are 7.

Thank goodness it went well.
Did they figure out what exactly the officer had issues with?

"Fury". Perfect. That's the word.

They did not disclose but they are really only held due to the red flags mentioned above

That's still not a big gap to me. I've seen more space between teeth before ....
