Don't worry, GuyanaGirl. I had my app sent before you and still haven't got the hardcopy in the mail. The only way I know I've been approved it's myCIC (which you weren't able to link with). It takes a while for the mail to travel all its way from Alberta
As profiler said, start applying for jobs cause this takes a while too. Now I regret I haven't done that sooner...

Well it's for my husband so we are going to start straightening out his resume to Canadian standards. I'm going to quit trying to link, the more I see that "application not found" the more frantic I get.

Spoke with someone from the CIC call center they said according to the notes they`re waiting for the security and criminal check to be done by CIC as of right now. They heard from Kingston Visa office in Jamaica and my daughter`s application and medical all pass. My question is any idea how long this check goes for? I just really want my girl to spend Christmas in Canada with us. Plus her passport expires in January and we can't renew because Jamaica doesn't allow you to renew your passport until it expires plus the KVO has her passport since they asked for it when we got the notice to get her medical done.

They "read" my notes too.. put me on hold for 5 minutes to do that. Then said they are still working on the sponsor application. The MP called last week and was told they are waiting for security and criminality.

I hope they get it sorted for you...

Salty Tuesdays started when I'd check ECAS every Tuesday -- the day they claimed it was updated. I'd get salty when nothing had changed..

Have you tried linking the app leaving blank the "Place of Birth" field ?

I wasn't on hold for that long she's the one that told me that KVO contacted CIC to let know about my daughter's papers. Its been over a month since we sent in the background check and PCC. Going back it seems I usually hear from them a month and a half after they've gotten whatever request they've made to us. Hoping that this is the same.
