browning911: I am curious if you saw SIR in your GCMS notes at all?

No Profiler, I did not see SIR. :(

Finally got my OWP!!!

Am I right assuming that:
As a holder of OWP I can legally stay in Canada, leave and re-enter without temporary resident visa, since I am visa-exempt nationality with valid eTA?
Of course only as long as OWP and eTA valid (respectively till I'll hopefully receive my PR)

Thank you

Congrats RRO.

:(! What about "Application identified as part of the 2016 reduction exercise for certain spouses or Common-Law Partner in Canada Applications" ?

Hi browning911,

Do you mean IRCC asked you to go get medicals done after you submitted the application? Or did you randomly decided to go get medicals done before even IRCC asked you, after you sent the application?

Thanks,

We just did it on our own.

No did not see that either but then again may be because we failed to respond quickly to their request for Schedule A and IMM5406. Remember they said that in the release. Something like make sure your respond to IRCC requests.

Can I will it in there??

I am anxiously awaiting our GCMS notes to see if we were selected...

Please I just pray that the next GCMS notes, now they have the updated the Schedule A and IMM5406, shows that our application is "identified as part of the 2016 reduction exercise for spouses or Common-Law Partner in Canada Applications".

I am 100% sure that your application will be.

We know it's possible, but we really don't want to get our hopes up until we get to the finish line...

My guess is, they will select yours in the next round. From what I read, and a little deduction, it appears their goal is to purge the inland spousal application pool. They want to reset it, and to maintain a lower 'inventory' (I love the term... perfectly mechanical). So, as they iterate through rubber-stamping, I am sure your case will come up and get the stamp treatment too :)

Any time. If you wanted to use it, you could probably do bookkeeping. My wife didn't have any trouble finding work in Ontario doing accounting or bookkeeping with a Russian education. So, if you are in the Ontario region, you could always try that. If you are in other regions, I suspect the same is true...

The only reason my wife abandoned the idea of association is because she can go as high as a PhD for free. So, it made sense to just wait it out.

If I could continue my studies for free I would definitely do it.

yes, in ECAS :)

wow -- we are march 2nd. Not far behind you, and we are still without AOR2 or anything. As far as ecas is concerned it's In progress and Application received. Congrats!

I would guess it will be the next batch run. I see you're in Kitchener, so you will likely land there too.. I regularly am near that office, and it's pretty quiet (you need a secret handshake to get the doors to unlock). So I wonder if your landing interview will be scheduled shortly after you receive a notice...

Profiler, maybe like us your AOR2 was sent out via BATCH e-mail BELA but you never received it.

Congrats Dimigago! I wish we would get SA too.

You mean to say, it's "lost in the mail"? ;). We will see that in the notes anyway I am sure. But from what I know, we are still at CPC-Mississauga. So, AOR2 is only to announce the VO that will be working the case -- from what I understand -- right??
