Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Today the status of Sponsored Person changed to Decision Made.
My timeline:

Application sent : 2016.04.19
Application received: 2016.04.20
Start process: 2016.05.24
CSQ demand: 2016.06.10
CSQ received: 2016.07.24
Open Work Permit received: 2016.08.06
AIP received: 2017.09.26
Sponsorship Application Status shows Decision Made: 2017.09.27
Redo Medecin exam the 2017.10.04 and updated the E-medical file.
Permanent Residence Application Status Decision Made：2017.10.27

Hope my case could give a reference to help somebody in the forum...We have waited for 18 months before DM in Quebec.

And I haven't received any email or calls from CIC for an appointment yet. What will be happened next...? Thank you.

Today My wife and I went to Montreal CIC office for attending to the landing appointment. A nice officer did all document within 10 minuits, very simple. She asked some questions as below,
1. The first entry date in Canada
2. The last entry date in Canada and in which airport you've been entied.
3. Do you have child in other countries?
4. Wish you always sponsor your wife?

My timeline:

Application sent : 2016.04.19
Application received: 2016.04.20
Start process: 2016.05.24

So 19 months in total from Application sent day to Landing today...We will eat chinese Sichuan hop pot this friday for the celebration.

Do guys think if i cancel the use of representative during the application process would it affect my application. Since the lawyer i went through has been giving me a lot of hard time lately and not easy to get in touch with. Any suggestions?

Not as long as you are sure to submit the Use of a Representative form to remove them from the file (send this via IRCC web form). You might want to also call the call centre to notify them of the removal, and ask they update your contact to include your email address and phone number. Otherwise, communications can get lost.

Other than lost communications, there would be no change to the processing speed or time.

Did our landing interview on Monday--- and husband is now a PR! Yes! The long wait is finally over. No more anxiety, haha. Now just to wait for the PR card and we can book our honeymoon travel

Here is our timeline:

Application Received: November 15, 2016
Application Opened: December 1, 2016
Open Work Permit Issued: March 3, 2017
Police Certificate Request: April 10, 2017 (Sent PC prior to this)
Medical Request: October 5, 2017
Medicals Passed: October 10, 2017
Eligibility Passed: November 3, 2017
Landing Interview Letter: November 6, 2017
Landed on November 20, 2017

Overall, it took a year and 5 days!

Yes they call G5 and I'm December 14 applicant we got AIP and SA
And in mycic account showing in progress

Now have to wait for Etobicoke office to schedule an landing appointment which can take upto 7 weeks. For the landing appointment do they usually call or email or send a letter? Any ideas and whats the average time it takes for landing?
I guess after all i dont need to remove my representative.

4-8 weeks for Etobicoke. They use the same means they normally contact you with. So, they will email your rep, most likely.
