Stable or not, it won't matter. For Family Class sponsorships, there is no demand problem. Really they are looking for: TB (chest x-ray), HIV (which they still permit, but I think there is a special clause), Syphilis (which the doc finds via blood test, and starts treating immediately), etc. Stroke, heart, etc; no issue.I am a worrier by nature .. Good to know! I had no idea regarding the RME. Interesting.. Learned something again.
When I told my hubby about your response, he was greatly relieved.. I doubt the stroke will be a problem as he is stable, can walk and makes dinner, needing minimal help. His speech is improving, he has aphasia. PT and ST have to be paid out of pocket anyway, so he really is no burden for Canada. Besides he has been here for over 3 years and there has been no problem.Good to know some options though, just in case.
The PP was great, we filled out the stuff together. A nice guy. The one I had way back when in Germany in 1984 wasn't half as nice..
Regarding Warsaw: I was referring to the conflicting info on his visitor's visa ( where it states that his Country of Birth is USA) However, we made a copy of his passport which of course states that he is a US citizen and his place of birth is Warsaw, Poland..I was wondering that because of those discrepancies I am not able to access our account via GCKEY. It's quite annoying..
Root Canals...Oh my, I have had my share ..And a few did not take and then I had the tooth pulled and even some surgery.. no fun. In general I am afraid of dentists ( butcher's in Germany) and when I had my first root canal I had a drink or two..lol Hubby had dental work done as well last year, ouch to the wallet.. But- he is so much braver than I am..lol
I am glad to hear he is recovering! My dad had a stroke as a result of a special syndrome (who's name escapes me). The clot is lodged within his brainstem. My mom is an RPN with decades of time working with stroke victims. She was on him immediately to start relearning. So, present day, the risk of stroke or issue from the previous event is near zero. He has regained everything. Mentally, he gets overwhelmed by crowds and traffic. Otherwise, nothing lasting.
So, really, don't worry at all. You're still on the right timeline, and the medical won't be a big deal. Promise
