Thanks for the reply. Do you think she is getting the fingerprints request because they know what she did already? Since she got her picture taken and fingerprints last week? Or asking for the Police Check is common among all applicants?

And.. if she gets diversion, or the charges withdrawn will we have problems as well? My concern is that we send her fingerprints now, and they see she has been arrested and make the decision right away to deny the application instead of waiting for the court resolution.

Have you heard of any other similar case?

Thank you so much, I am really worried and we've been waiting for so long that I am very afraid they will separate us.

Innocent until proven guilty. If you don't send the fingerprints, they will refuse your application for not complying. At least if you comply, you can appeal for H&C if need be. At this point, you should just wait to see what they say. An accusation is not a conviction. Therefore, if you draw it out (delay), that might work. I am not an attorney though -- more an armchair commentor.

Thank you so much Profiler. Medical was already passed, no interview needed, so I guess just BC and SC. So I see that you are like a timeline Guru, any predictions on how much longer????:D

Uhm. Inlands ALWAYS get an interview. Always. Did I say ALWAYS? If they didn't, they don't land, and therefore are not PR's. It's the interview you WANT to have.

I have no means to guess anymore WRT timelines. The Security clearances are taking a strange amount of time, and that is no doubt directly in response to the refugees and asylum seekers.

Ok , ok. We know about the landing Interview, but on mycic, it says you do not require an interview, so we're guessing they meant a relationship Interview. Thanks for the response.

Yes. That is generally what they mean in myCIC. But, there is always an interview. So, my original post stands.

If you are inland, you're reading the totally wrong thread.

It's like getting a driver's license. A couple known questions for you, and for CIC (they have investigated you). Initial, sign, be congratulated and welcomed to Canada, answer some questions, and you're out to update (or get a new) SIN, and health care (update if you already have).

61 days later, a PR Card comes in the mail.

Makes perfect sense! Thank you, profiler!

My husband is just so paranoid ahahahahahaha. He was freaking out like, "Why?! I hope this isn't some bad call and they tell me, 'No PR for you!'" XD

Unless he springs a surprise like, "I have kids I didn't report" or "I was convicted of murder in Bali", it will be fine. They won't refuse at this point.

I'll tell him that, haha. "Profiler says you'll be fine!"

Even the kids isn't such a big deal. But, murder in Bali... that's an intel and criminality fail on a massive scale. Obviously offered to jest, but make the point. It's very unlikely at the point they send a landing invite that they will refuse. Very, very, unlikely.

My wife was a nervous wreck until she saw exactly what I had been telling her happen. Then she broke out laughing when he asked her to sign her COPR....

Hi Everyone we just received an eligibility pass on mycic. What happens from here? Thanks.
Thats aip. Next is decision made then landing

I checked ECAS and it says "Decision Made" on both the Sponsor's side and the Applicant side for Permanent Resident Application.

EDIT: GOT LANDING INTERVIEW LETTER! November 20 @ 2:00pm in Vancouver :)

Any tips and what to expect during this interview???
congratulations! Don't worry for the interview, it's easier than getting a driving license.

Hi everyone we just seen on the Sponsors Ecas that a decision has been made! Nothing on Applicant side. Very exciting! Patience is a virtue!

Well. That's certainly no bueno. You need to provide the fingerprints if they have asked for it. You don't need to notify them until conviction. They will ask questions at landing, if she was convicted. She MUST answer truthfully to this.

That said, I would say you're at least 3 months away from being done...
Maaaaaan!!!!!
Wow!!!
Wow!!!!
