AIP means annnny time now! It also means your sponsor has SA.

I did yes! I also received email stating they've forwarded it. My wife called yesterday and was told it's been attached as well.

That's a very big step done though! As you waited so long for your AIP, your security checks might be completed already, so DM could come quite fast! That's what I wish you!

Even if you don't get the letter, you need the sponsor approved to get AIP, so consider you have SA already. What is your ecas showing?

Check again today.. AIP means they are satisfied with your sponsor and your relationship, and that you are a member of the Family Class. It's not possible, that your sponsor wasn't approved.

The out of order emails are thanks to overloaded old systems.

I hate to say this but we had bought the tickets since I got the medical request to avoid paying triple the price and almost thought I would lose the $ (no refund) but it's starting to look possible now. Btw I appreciate the fact you remember and I'm sure everyone else can relate too as I've seen on numerous occasions how you can remember exactly the most minor to major details on members of this forum's case even if they've been inactive for a significant period of time and I just wanna say thanks. You and quite a few others @sylvain1 @carolbb23 @browning911 etc who's spouse's have landed a LONG time ago yet still here assisting us, im sure we've all wished we can pay more than just respect online.

Aww shucks. You're welcome. I know it was a big deal. I hope you can reschedule your flight! At this point, if you don't get a landing invite before Sept 15, call your MP and explain the problem I bet they'll try to slide you in so you can get that card in time.
