No PR Card application for you, missy!

When you land, the landing officer completes your COPR, gives you a copy, and sends the other copy to CPC Sydney. The first PR Card is included with your fees already, and it will be processed automatically on landing. Should arrive by mail 6-8 wks after landing.

That's why you have to bring more passport sized photos :)

OH really? I had no idea! I paid another $50 to CIC for nothing then? OMG. (shaking my head) :) I probably should have asked my rep about that.

I wouldn't tell a lie!

You probably can get a refund for that. I'm not sure on how to proceed though...

@kokopelli
Just send a IRCC webform (CSE) request. Ask for a refund. Explain you misunderstood the process. Include a PDF copy of your receipt. They will put the money back from where it came from (ccard?).

But I am sure they appreciate the investment ;)

I'm not so confident in the prediction "soon 2016s will be over"..... I hope so, but it feels like we are still in for a long slow ride :(

With you on this... hopefully something this week!

As you have AIP already, you could literally get DM any day now. You're closer to the end than you think.

Good morning, folks.

Are 2016s still being worked on? ;) Well, it will be over soon enough!

I had already explained why emails from CIC come out of order: some report getting SA after AIP; AIP after DM; or not getting them at all. I did share a story about that. Here is the follow-up from another agency's perspective: http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/rcmp-shared-services-canada-bell-email-1.4262358
