Me too. Looks like they're off the coast of Iceland now...Great! My wife doesn't eat sushi, but I don't mind, I'm not a big fan either. Again I hope she has a nice flight back to Toronto!

Except, housework. Ugh. I made it worse by working on the basement bathroom, and not cleaning as I went.so exciting when someone you love comes home

AH.... it is becoming frustrating!! how did December 2016 applicants get landed like a 6 months before June/Aug Applicant..I don't think the system works. If you check those who applied on December, 2016 on the spreadsheet, you will see that most of them are already landing.
whats new with immigration? any slow down? and speed up? whats going on?

No problem. Though I wonder if there is an arrangement between Oz and Can like there is Nz and Can. There is a release form you can give CIC, and they can just contact and get the PCC details direct via the High Commission.
Anyway, I am surprised they are asking for a driver's abstract. Vehicular Manslaughter aside, there isn't a crime that you could be convicted of that would be more than a few years in jail. That would be detected by the personal history anyway. So, it begs the question: is it really necessary?
Anyway, I am glad you got it sorted!
April 2016 applied. still waiting for AIP....and still some waiting from April and May...Im a May 9th.
For the traffic history, I've read that DUI doesn't show up in the police certificates but in traffic history, they do. I guess there's a delay in between the two departments. If it is necessary, it is indicated in the website that the police certificate is unacceptable without the traffic history. My husband is actually saying the same thing. All of the fuss for something that we might not really need.
