got the DM letter today, yay! Seems nice to have the actual letter and not just see it in ECAS and think its a dream, lol.
And Im definitely landing in St Johns....come on landing letter!!!

we got decision made on Sponsor side over 2 months ago, since then absolutely nothing. April 2016 applicant

we got:
DM on ECAS on June 14th
AIP in email on June 16th
SA letter rec'd July 13th but dated June 28th via Canada Post
DM letter in email today July 26th.
When speaking to the call line they told me 2-6 weeks for landing letter from the AIP date...they have till the 31st for it to be 6 weeks

tried a few times, they are really hard to get through to, I did listen to their recording that said that medical is successful and we do not need to submit anything else at present time
it is depressing, especially when reading on here that they jumped ahead to some other month when we have been waiting patiently and checking status every day for the last year, you are right it is hard not to get angry, but what can you do, they will make their decision good or bad eventually, I just hope they can catch up on us early 2016 applicants before 2018

Waiting for DM
I bought the car at 2 yrs old in 2010 (it's a 2008). I have had it since. Outside of routine maintenance, it hasn't had much in the way of problems -- if you factor in the 212,000kms on it. In terms of strength -- I am happy to race you on a track to find out
This model and year is when Daimler-Mercedes was running the show at Chrysler. I have never had a car that felt so comfortable to drive at 160km/h that it does at 20km/h. Scary that you don't even notice how fast you are really going. In fact -- I have to be careful, as 160 creeps up REALLY FAST!
Wow, that's great, now I am confused should I get a Highlander like SUV or a car like Charger

I agree, it does get really depressing and I am generally an impatient person to begin with, but this has really tested me. I was feeling that April and May applicants were being passed over (Im May 9th, 2016). Crossing fingers we arent forgotten and they are just taking their sweet time.
And yes, is very difficult for me also to get through to be put on hold to talk to someone, spent most of today trying.
I wish for things to start moving along for you.

SUVs are useful for sure... I can say we brought our 55" flatscreen tv home in the trunk of the car... My next vehicle may be one. I've also floated the idea of getting another truck... Or maybe a Mini (with a standard trans) -- so much fun
Trucks are fun fir sure. I loved Nissan Titan. There is a $17000 discount going on in my vity for 2017 model now. It makes you feel safe comfy and roomy slong with power. Is yours Hellcat by the way?
