Lol ok..I just wait or call cic centre next week then

Sure, you can always call them. But unless they changed policy since last year, they will say, "It's less than 4 months, we can't help you."

lmao! It's the only difference I could see. One post said @browning911. The other said @profiler with a bunch of wacky-sweary symbols and some math that dun make sense!

LOL.....

BTW, where is Carol? I hope she is not celebrating her receipt of PR card and did not tell us.

They look at Mrs P (aka the Moscovite) [learning so much from you;)] and said we better not mess with her. Those who have nothing to hide tell it like it is and said, Let her through.

(*Muscovite; my first spelling was incorrect). They did "council" her for 2 hours in secondary (immigration) at Pearson. Then, let her enter for 6 months. She was piiiiiisssed at me that night. "I did what you said, and they pulled me into immigration and said we can't apply in Canada!"

That's after the Moscow Airport / Finnair doggie shake down. The bribe was near $100 to allow him on the plane...

Most with document requests are seeing DM's within about 60 days from the day they submitted the docs. So June 6 + 60 days ~= August 5nd.
hummm... English is not my first language, but 5nd? ;):)!!!
That reminded me when Jean Chretien wanted announce the election day in French and he said: "le s'quatre novembre au soir"

True story. The only other time she got a hard time was her first visit. Heh. I was ready to leave, because I didn't see her come out....then I get a weird number calling me (905 something from "Mississauga, ON"). When I answered, "This is Canadian Immigration at Pearson Airport. Are you expecting a visitor?"

They tried to give me a hard time -- but when I set them straight, they did a quick bag search and she was out in 5. The rest of the time it was through CBSA quick. Those were the good old days. Now she will have this fancy-dancy card that let's her through without troubles...

The CBSA scared her so much that, when her mother came to "occupy" the basement, she wrote up a quick "English to Russian" translation page for her mom to take with her on the plane. Her mom only knows basic basic (Red, Green, Blue, 1, 2, 3) English. She gets to the CBSA at Pearson:

"Why are you seeking entry to Canada today?"
<scanning page up and down>
"Chicken!"
<finger waving and more page scanning>
"Ah! Daughter!"

The eye-roll felt round the world as they laughed and waived her through.

They pulled her over at random for secondary. Someone else mentioned that to me too.
