Hey, since I have not commented before, yet (and so I can't PM), just mentioning the dates here:

Application received: Novemeber 14th,2013
Sponsor Approved: December 20th,2013 (Estimate)
Re-medical: December 16th,2015
PPR1: January 14th, 2015
PPR2: February 6th
Visa: Waiting

If you need to get your credential assessed by WES Canada, then yes, other wise its optional, but i would recommend to do it before you leave as doing it while being in Canada is a long haste and waste of more time than you can imagine.

Revised International Baggage Allowance For USA and Canada Only [PIA]

Two pieces of 23 KGS each for economy cabin
7 kg hand-carry is included free in both classes
Gents can carry Laptop bag and Ladies can carry purse separably as a free baggage beside Hand-carry

You can get your police certificate by going to you nearest police station as they will have authority to issue you your PCC (Police Character Certificate)
You should go there and meet ASI of the Police Station and ask him that you need your PCC, he will ask :
A)2 witness (2 neighbors ) n.i.c copy + signature on the form
B) your n.i.c, your parents n.i.c, (copies)
C) the letter CIC sent you
D)4 pics
and some money (if you have some person you know then they dont ask money as it is issued free of cost.)

didnt u submit one PCC from Islamabad at the time of application,,take copy of that and contact them they will make it

Mine changed on 10 Feb, and be patient and keep praying, its the last stretch, i can see the light at the end of dark tunnel of Long distance Marriage. Lets hope all of our waits end soon. In sha Allah very soon

as i said earlier
i have compared a lot of data from previous members and current members who have got their PPR, and i came to conclusion that it takes between 5 to 25 days normally (and some rare times 45 days) to get PPR after Decision Made.
I am in the same boat as you guys and my humble opinion is to wait And pray to God that it comes sooner than expected.

Actually i have already made my residence certificate way earlier than i needed my PCC, so let me guide you what i did.
I went to a advocate's office, asked the clerk i need the residence certificate for printed on the 20Rs stamp paper , It also needs 2 neighbors as witness, their nic# and signature
and after filling and signing it , i made 2 photocopies of it and went to the nearest Union Council office and asked to get it stamped from them, as they do not stamp the 20rs stamp paper, they stamped the photocopies and i submitted that as a residence certificate .

This whole procedure was done 3-4 years ago so there is a chance that the procedure has changed, but i hope it helps u in some way when u go to get yours.
