hello,

where does it say that u have to have the polio certificate with you when travel to canada ? because nobody told me this nor it has mentioned in my copr ?

Polio Vaccine Requirement for Travellers

For adults and children

The Government now requires all travelers exiting Pakistan, including those who have spent more than four weeks in the country, to receive the polio vaccine and produce the government-issued ‘International Certificate for Polio Vaccination’.
The ‘International Certificate for Polio Vaccination’ will be valid for one year only. Travelers will need to be vaccinated on an annual basis.

Hi,

To all Decision made Persons

Well i have compared a lot of data from previous members and current members who have got their PPR, and i came to conclusion that it takes between 5 to 25 days normally (and some rare times 45 days) to get PPR after Decision Made.
I am in the same boat as you guys and my humble opinion is to wait at least 25 days before contacting CIC (by e-mail or by MP) as it will only delay ppr. And pray to God that it comes sooner than expected. May Allah helps us all and unite us with our Loved ones as soon as possible.

You get your ppr in e-mail.

Hopefully you will get your PPR soon In sha ALLAH, just be patient

And i can not be more clearer when i said that it takes between 5 to 25 days normally (and some rare times 45 days) to get PPR after Decision Made.

Just keep Praying and stop Worrying
When 40 day barrier pass and you still don't have ppr, then you are allowed to worry and be tense not a moment earlier
May Allah give you patience and good news soon.

Hi,

Steps to be prepared To be ready to deal with PPR:

1. You should fill : Updated information chart appendix A Form (Which will be Sent in PPR)
*note : Do fill the same info as you filled in your spousal app
It only asks for first and last name, passport number, height in cms, passport expiry date, eye color, native language, email, address, telephone numbers of everyone that the passport is being submitted for.

2. Get 2 white background passport pics ready with name and D.O.B typed, written or printed on the back
3. Get 2 Passport Copies, 2 N.i.C Copies Ready.
4. Get The Concerning VAC address and Get to know how to find the address.

My husband medical was done in Dec they ask for police report and other info end of January so he send that at the beginning of February and his ecas status changed on 5 January to in process so iit's been almost 2 week that they rcv his police rreport and other document so now how long will it take to DM I hope so that they are not going to ask for anything else and also they send all the documents back which we submit at the of applying for his case ...
So any idea

all those who have done remedical in last 6 month must have polio vaccination card with them and that is valid for 1 year ,,u can use the same card for travel

Hi,

most of the applicants of 2012 used to get the PPR1(Passport Request1),before getting PPR2

In PPR1, they ask for passport bio page(front page which have picture on it), details of height and eye colour . After you e-mail them back providing the above docs, the issue a PPR2 in a week, which is now =PPR (Passport Request),
After getting the PPR2 you will send your passport to CHC Islamabad.

This could mean his background check is under process and as soon as it completes, the e-cas will be changed to Decision Made and hopefully soon after DM, you will get Passport Request (PPR)
Yes they will send docs back as well.

I guess I'm waiting for ppr2 then though it has been almost 2 months since I sent them ppr1 I'm guessing the timings vary with each case.
