Hello everyone!!

Question regarding remedical.... at the bottom it says polio vaccine certificate must be brought to the appointment. Is this necessary? Anyone know where to go in Lahore to get that?

Second question, are any additional photos needed for the medical appointment?

Please inbox or reply .

thanks

Well that is sumthing you must take with you. BUT that realy depends upon your doctor. I dint take with me and dr.Asma was assigned to me. She said no need to submit it just take it with you when you fly for canada.
Yes therw are specific photo size that is asked to take there with you. But again as the system is now online so you do not need to take with you. BUT to be on safer end better you keep with you.

Polio certificates can be obtained from any govt hospital. I went to services hospital. You have to take a photocopy of your passposrt with you.
Wish you good luck

All it asks is to bring original passport and 2 copies of the first 2 pages of passport. It didn't ask for any additional photos... We have everything from the check list but the polio vaccine certificate, because my husband hasn't got that yet. I will tell him to go to the government hospital and get it. Thanks

looks like march is the interview month for most of the applicant... good luck guys....

Thanks for posting the email from CIC, really interesting.

Just a reminder to anyone whose file has been transferred directly from Mississauga to London to let me know their timeline so I can add them to the London spreadsheet (linked in my signature). If you want to be added, then I need:
-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!

Cheers!

Hi, i was wondering if someone could help me understand where my husbands application stands.
We submitted his file on Feb 02 2012, no action was taken after that, his status remained as application received... on June 2014 his file was transferred to London visa office. All this happened while we were both living in Pakistan. Now I am in Canada with my daughter and have contacted the MP of city and the LVO many times. The last email I received from them was for re medical, the 2nd fee and the new schedule A. Which I have sent them in Dec 2014. My husbands file has been in London for 8 months. Ive heard that LVO takes 11 months to process the case. Is that true? Are we just waiting for passport request?

Shocked to see processing time for outland spouse cases as it has jumped to 29 months from 11 months for LVO and 36 months from 33 months for IVO. :-[ :( >:(

Salaam brothers and sisters. I have a question: why would a case be stuck in IP having passed eligibility, criminality and medical? My case from Afghanistan is stuck in IP for over 3 months now. No travel history. The only thing I could think of is residential address provided on the forms for sponsored spouse. My spouse in Afghanistan does not have an official residential address. They don't have official street names or numbers so I wrote (made up street name) whatever the people refer to that street in the neighbourhood. Could this delay the security check? Anyone else who has been stuck in IP for a long time have any clue to the reasoning behind it? Thanks!

hi guys i have a question if you can help me out i did my daughter's medical on Dec 1 but i received an email from LVO for medical 2 days ago and i went to medical centre for medical exam but they told me they dont do medical exam if medical is not expired. what should i do ?

Does anyone know if these new processing times will effect applicants that have applied a year ago?

I am in the same situation as yours. my passport has been gone since Jan and my wife medical expired. They requested for a medical assessment now which we already finished and submitted. will the passport still be in islamabad until the medical assessment is verified?

i hope the change in processing timing to 29 month will not effect my application.

hmm...well, hihger Processing time simply indicates you that there is a BIG RUSH OF application...it give you some idea...since you applied a year ago, you maynot b in 29 month, but who knows..it can take 12 months or 24 months...its difficult to say...but for sure case will resolve before 29 months , I hope...
just pray..all the best for all the applicant handling in LVO.....
