No. I am talking about family class sponsorship cases. They guy was Indian and PP was sent to NDVO. CIC thought that the case was not genuine.

Yes tcs member will call u before delivering pp at the given address which u send at the time of submitting pp to islamabad .

I sponsored my spouse (Wife Case).. Applied Feb 25 ,2014 .. file transfered to LVO directly on (May 06,2014) and the first medical request came on (JAN 05,2014)..

The letter says:

( These medical instructions are being issued since your application has been processed to the stage
where medical examination results are now required. Please read these instructions carefully.
IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 30 days of the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.)

Is it normal letter for first time medical request or is it mean I can expect ppr 1 and/or ppr2 request soon???

Another update from my local member of parliament (MP) for anyone who submitted their passports in mid-November 2014, also on a side note, everyone please do contact your local MPs to get updates because CIC replies to their inquiries much more quickly than they answer our inquiries, the MPs cannot help expedite your cases but they can provide helpful updates on the status of your application.

My MP sent an e-mail to the Islamabad office to find out when my husband would receive his passport back (his passport reached the Islamabad office on November 18, 2014). Islamabad replied to my MP that his case will be finalized this week, and my MP also offered to do a follow up e-mail to Islamabad this Friday to ensure that the passport has been sent back to my husband and provide us with a date of when he can be expected to receive it InshaAllah this means that those who submitted their passports in mid-November should receive them back soon! Best of luck to you all!

I do not know the reason behind PPR but I have read so many refusal case and one I read last night where Visa is rejected after sending the PP to VO.

oh yes! -41 today in Montreal with wind chill!!!!! I don't know where u can find such clothes in Pakistan. Just need warmers to wear under jeans and shirts, thick sweaters and a winter jacket u might need to buy from here. have warm hat, mittens and scarf.. Good luck !!
