The files that have been transferred to London, where do you send the passports? Islamabad or London? I applied for parents sponsorship, and file was sent to London. However, my mother is in Canada on super visa, so when passport request will come will I send them to ISB or Ottawa?

layla I saw a case almost 2 weeks back where an applicant was in canada when his spouse got a ppr from lvo then they write them an email to explain that applicant is here in canada then lvo resend a ppr with new instructions to send it to ottawa

Do you guys think that while we are waiting to get our passports back (with the visa), it might be helpful to involve our local MP if this could speed up the process in any way? What else can we do? I don't think they would respond to an email.

My husband sent his passport to the Islamabad office for his permanent residence visa on November 18 and we haven't gotten it back yet and since it has been a month we sent an e-mail to the London office (as written in the letter you will receive for PPR 2 that if you don't get your passport back in a month's time you should e-mail them) and I just contacted my local MP as well to do an inquiry. The MP may not be able to speed it up but I asked them to do an inquiry to the Islamabad office.

It is just really frustrating that the Islamabad office is taking so long to get passports back to people when this is the last step and London has done most of the leg work for them. This is pure inefficiency and laziness on Islamabad office's part. And it is prolonging the process for no reason. I hope everyone's applications are approved and their passports are returned quickly!

CHC ISB staff is the laziest and irresponsible being ever!
It is just because of the LVO that we are reaching/reached at final stage of our cases. Would that we could send our PP directly to LVO )':

I send my pp to islamabad .. As far as ur mother case is concern I think u should email london immigration office that ur mum is in Canada these days so they will guide u on that . What I think is they will tell u to send pp to Ottawa . Good luck

Today I call my MP office.they are going on holidays until jan 10
The guy I talked told me that total time would b 32 months u told him that it's not true
And he said ok I wish u best of luck but time would b 32 months
That made me confused and upset also he said for my baby VO can ask me for DNA test fir both my baby and. My husband ......isn't that weird?
And he said ok now u have baby prepare urself for new layer of problems .........what??
Instead of giving hope he was depressing me
Now jan 10 I wud call and after opointment then they wud send enquiry let's see what happens ... Fingers crossed

can we still sponsor parents? I thought they could get only super visas now. could you provide me some details please?

4 weeks over still pp is not back .. Should I email to LVO ? Suggestion please .. It was written in my ppr2 email that if u dint receive ur pp in 4 weeks email to LVO ...

Talking to MP NEVER speeds up the process BUT Yes you get to know what is happening with your case and at what stage the case is, that is it. MP will speed up ONLY if the timeline of 33 Months is passed, not before that.

There will be no gain of sending Emails to LVO in Dec 2014 as they are busy in their holidays,Christmas/new year preparation etc. Also they moved to new building so that also delayed so much processing and now this new year Christmas season is also putting a lot of delay in our case processing.

Islamabad has nothing to do with keeping our PPs for no reason, they stamp Visa when LVO approves. And LVO is again doing nothing right now except few requests etc. We should start hoping in 2nd week of Jan 2015.

So friends hold your nerves and enjoy yourselves rather being through this painful and stressful wait. Al least this is what I am doing right now. My PP was sent to ISB in 1st week of Nov and I have not said a single word against that by just knowing that what are the possible reasons.

For those who got PPR and applicant is in Canada need to update LVO about the residency to get new instructions for PPR.

Suggestions to those who are about to order notes:
I think you guys must wait till mid of Jan 2015 and IFF nothing happens then DO sent EMAILS and ORDER Notes.

A few weeks back embassy sent me a letter saying they are willing to extend my wif'e medical certificate if she hasn't visited any countries. so I wrote back saying no she has not.

Then today got this email:

The results of initial medical examinations for yourself has expired. In order to provide your application with an updated validity we require following additional medical examination(s) for your self:

* Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF)
* Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
* Duly completed Re-assessment Form (in PDF/word)


Is this a full re medical test? or are they asking just for chest xray?

By the way the email says to contact PP in 7 days. Does that mean the appointment has to be made in 7 days or the entire medical has to be done in 7 days?

So depressed no ppr request yet, I know it hasn't been too long after re-medical was sent (Nov 28), but I check his email daily and status update - maybe I need to stop doing that! May Allah swt help us all, ameen.
