yes, u need to apply for equivalency.. my husband is electrical engineer and u need to have degree from an accredited uni on list of engineering canada website.. means has to be bsc, whereas my husband has btech.. once equalized its too long to get equivalent engineering degree, i have founf 3-4...

any idea how much weight, valuable items are allowed to take by husband on first entry to canada? can he bring all my gold as a gift and gets receipts made for it?

I got the same email, but in the pdf it says exclusively "send to ISLAMABAD" in bold twice. But i'm also confused about how to send it as the website says drop it in person or send by courier. So, I guess I will also be telling my husband to go to the office in Lahore to help guide him...

The reason they do this is because they need to issue the visa upto the time ur medical is valid, their lack of efficiency that they don't realize it sooner, but they have to do this so they give u sufficient time to enter the country! :) Be patient, where we all have waited so many months these...
