I recieved sponsorship approval on 28-Aug-2014 and then it was moved to London. Now when i checked my application status on ECAS today it says that my "Permanent residence application for federal skilled worker is sumitted to sydney,nova scotia." I never applied for Federal Skilled worker visa but i am a software engineer. so maybe i got some points? Does it have anything to do with my spousal application? Will it take more time or less time to process my spouse application? Please let me know if anybody have seen anything similar? Thanks

Did u immigrate on federal skilled worker?.... I would call the call centre and ask them.... there must b some mix up.... FSW should NOT have anything to do with spousal sponsorship

Yes i had like your experience, will try and ask appointment at lahore timeing of call 8 to 3 o clock, i also had remedical exp so you should be head Good news Insha Allah. Ameen and exect after Remedical you will Rec PPR this is final Step.

Hi, I wanted to know of cases similar to mine and what your timeline was.Some background information: I currently reside in pakistan, and my spouse resides in Canada. She is a Canadian citizen and is currently pregnant. Her due date is in December 2014. Our timeline:We applied for sponsorship in August 2014, and recieved a reply in October 2014 which stated that our application has been transferred to the visa office in London. We then checked our status online using the uci number and there are two things written, one says that the application was received and the next says that the medical has been received. I know that I will not be able to be with my wife for the delivery of our child but I wanted to know if the delivery of our child will speed up our case. My wife is not able to come to pakistan so I would like to go there as soon as possible. I wanted to know of people who have similar cases and what your timelines are. What can I do to speed up my case?

Do you want to be added to the spreadsheet, linked in my signature? It would be really useful to have more people on there, assuming your application was sent to London directly from Mississauga. If you want to be added, then post or PM the following:
-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!

You can email CIC to let them know that a child has been born, but the child is CAnadian and so not being added ot the application. Unfortunately it will not speed up your application, you'll be waiting just like everyone else in the queue. We aren't sure yet how long London is taking to process Pakistani applications, hence tracking them on the spreadsheet. There are some people who applied late 2013 who still haven't heard.

I recieved an email from LVO regarding the processing times for Pakistan Files transfered to LONDON . The standard 11 months does not apply to us . But they did say that they are devoting different resources to bring the processing time to stamdard but have made significant improvemnt from 32 months. the are currently working on files recieved on may- june 2013.. hope this helps alot of u guys

Or who applied in June 2013 ?
I applied in June 2013 and my file tranfared on June 2014 to LVO and last month we got our son waiting for his birth certificate lets see Wut happens

Recieved on May/June 2013 . According to the reply all files that get transfered to LVO sit as inventory :-/

but this only applies to files transferred from islamabad to London...not cases that went straight to London
