It seems like they are processing backwords for 2013 cases. I know one of the members 'toocareless1' got his case processed in 12 months and he was Aug 2013 case. I also noticed few june-july 2013 cases being processed as well....I could totally be wrong with my theory but that is what I have observed.

I really feel bad for 2011 and 2012 cases...but I think those cases would be processes differently as information submitted is usually considered valid for 2yrs and VO asks to submit the updated information again...

I pray and hope we all get reunited with our loved ones soon.

Ya but y but what your talking about are cases transferred from Islamabad. Really interested in knowing about cases that went straight to London from Canada.

Which time would apply on my case now I'm going to report my baby's birth

Its hard to say which time will apply on you.CIC is unpredictable. Having baby is good sign on your case.if u don't apply for gcms notes.then do it.it will show u what's going on your case.

same thing here my pp is gone too embassy 5 week algo almost members please suggest me may i send email to CHC-islamabad embassy for reminder is it ok or not or still wait with out send email please advice me members

hi sharing my case here on this page! hope it may help others

i have applied for spousal sponsorship wife case.


Applied for sponsorship on : July 27th 2013
Response from CIC : August 2nd 2013 application received
CIC response, met requirements, file sent to islamabad : "September 16 2013"
file transfer to london : no email, status is still set to "Application Received"

So i made an enquiry on "September 17 2014" after a year (london visa office time line) with some document updates to help them with further evidence..job update etc... and also asking them about status of the file. London visa office replied with following email asking the hard copy of the documents which i mailed them and they received the documents on "October 14 2014".

London Visa Email :

Dear Sir/Madam,

I write in response to your enquiry, regarding the above noted application.

Please be advised that this application awaits initial review. We are making every effort to process files equitably, and once this application has been reviewed, we will be in contact with the applicant. Unfortunately, it may be several months before we are able to review this application.

Please send us a hard copy of the attachments you included in the last email.

I mailed them the hard copy of documents and fulfilled their requirements :

Documents received : october 14th 2014

Medical Request received : October 24th 2014


Current CIC status : Application Received


Question : Does anyone have any idea what happens after this point and what Completion Time line i should expect moving forward. Any help would be appreciated.

I am going through same phase, re-medical will be done nov 3rd... my status was "application received" as well, but after a week they changed it to "in process" i guess same will happen in your case. I am guessing its good sign at this point receiving re-med and most ppl saying after re-med its 3 month process on average IA. God help us all and release us from tyranny of confused thoughts!
