does anyone know how long does it take for PPR after second medical is done?
or are they delaying it because Canadian embassy is closed in Islamabad?
i did a re medical of my spouse on 13th august on 25 Aug status changed to medical received..
i would like to know how long will it take now?

My friend got her visa in 3 months after remedical .

Salam, I would like to know how all of you would feel receiving a letter like this:

They requested my husbands Pass Port which they have had since July 07/14. They said all is ready to issue Visa.

Then Thursday after finding a site through their network for personal inquiry on our case we received a letter that it appears that it will take another few months to finish our case.

I hate the darn Canadian System.
They have lied so many times I cannot take it any longer. After receiving GCSM notes last year I sent a letter stating they had not started the Back Ground Check. They replied the next day saying June 24/13 that yes they had.
Then when my husband had his Interview July 07/14 the Visa Officer was shocked to see that it had not been started at all. He then said it could take 2 weeks or 2 months and we would be able to leave Pakistan before my Visa for here Expired which is Sept 09/14.

Please I need feed back in what to do. They have lied to us so many times its unbelievable ... Please help??

I'm so sorry to hear this! I don't even know how to help you or console you. I think the only way to get through this is dua. They are liars big time! They are playing with relationships and emotions. Only Allah knows how difficult it is to live without ones spouse. I hate being in the limbo like this. You've been so brave throughout and inshaAllah you will be rewarded for this! I sincerely hope and pray that your husband gets his visa v v soon with aafiyat inshaAllah! Please make dua for us!

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

Today I received my GCMS notes. Can somebody please guide me that in my notes section, following statement is written by VO : Please request that PA to repeat med, advise that med result expired in Feb 2014.

Are they talking about remedical ?

Lastly in due date: month of October 2014 is written.

what does that mean ?

Extend your stay in Pakistan, live with your husband.

Let them take few more months. They're trying to break you down psychologically that's pretty much it.
Send them a letter that you'll continue to live with your husband no matter what.

If you can afford, I'd suggest getting a damn good lawyer(but this will mean spending a good $$$). Not a shady consultant, but a good immigration lawyer.

Also launch a detailed inquiry through your MP, and order GCMS notes again.

Guys i have travelled to different countries in the last 10 years ...with hubby and before marriage with family.
I have a question in my mind...whenever i will get the remedical so chc will take the longer time for crimnality check as cz of my frequent travelling?
Because after medical next step is the crimality check and then they will send the ppr.

Might be they can take little bit more time due to frequent traveling and therefore multiple PC. you need to get a police certificate from each country where you have lived for six or more months since the age of 18. Don't worry, you will hear a good news from them soon inshallah
