SPOUSAL IMMIGRATION - File transferred to London Office from Islamabad

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum. Here is my timeline. My wife is PR and she had sponsored me a very long time ago. Here is my time line
Application received at CIC Mississauga: Aug 2011
Sponsorship approved and file transferred to CIC Islamabad: Oct 2011 (32 months ago)
And that's it. Not even a mail confirming receipt of application or providing the file/case number.
My wife and I have contacted CIC Islamabad several times but no answer. My wife have even approached her MP and inquired through him without any luck. We just gave up and left it as is. This has seriously effected our relationship, I missed the birth of my son and met him for the first time when he was 8 months old when my wife visited Pakistan for a month in 2012.
Now, through this forum, I know that all the family class applications have been transferred to LVO. CIC Islamabad had not informed me me or my wife regarding the file transfer.
I also see that some of you have requested and successfully received notes on our files. Could someone kindly inform me how to request the notes on my file. I don't even have a file number.
The eCAS for my wife only shows that My Application was received in August 2011 (That is when it was received at CIC Mississauga)
Please advise.

Now a days, many if not all spousal files are being transfered to LVO. If they haven't opened your file yet, it most likely in queue to be opened.

Got original doccuments back in August 2013

Till that time no new updates I don't know when to hear a good news ...don't know where my file is .. Hopefully in London .. I have just emailed them , hope they will reply ..
Do anyone have any idea after reading my msg what they think about the status of my file ..,, ??? Why they are not updating ...

Send them a letter/fax to request back the originals as soon as possible.

Assalam alaikum!

Me im having an open case for sponsorship of my husband since july 25 2011. They have ask my husband to redo medical as well of police clearance in december and everything was sent back to them on 30th december. I am in communication with a member of parliament and they have advised me last time that our file was removed from the interview queue and that our relation was accepted as a genuine relation. Also advise that my husband file is now under background check. Islamabad high commission also advised to contact them back if after.

Anyone have any idea how much longer it will take???

Your help would be much appreciate, its now over 34 months that we are waiting and its very hard for us :-(

Either people received an email informing them of this update or they requested an update using notes/email.

Can i request that our file get transfer to london. My husband's files status says that they are currently doing background check??

They request to have his medical and police certificate again back in december, everything was sent and received on the 30th december 2013.

its very early to tell wait, London office is working very fast Inshallah your process will be done within a year or so, order your notes after 8 months or so to see your file progress.
