My file is also transferred to London now... hope this is for the best, It says 10 months... i wonder if its same time for Pakistani applications as well ? I hope it is

Here are my time lines and my case is Canadian Citizen living Exclusively outside Canada

1. Application Filed 6th Dec 2013
2 AOR Received – 4th Jan 2014
3. File transferred to London -31st Jan 2014

My consultant in Canada told me that london VO should get back in 3 to 4 Months. With that Information I think you should hear some thing by end of this month and I should hear some thing max by end of June. Lets see. I really hope they handle our case in 10 Months or so.........

Well good to see some updates here. My case is a bit diff though. I applied sponsorship for my 6 months old daughter. Me my wife and our son are PR. Sponsorship was v recently approved on 19th Feb 2014 and I got a letter that my case was transferred to London. I am not sure how fast they are now. Our own FSW was decided in London office and to be honest it was within the time they mentioned on website. Though my case was in Islamabad CHC for long before. Anyhow, I heard child under 5 cases get priortized, I am not sure how true is it. Any idea????

My file also got transfer to London visa office, not sure when and how they gonna start processing all the transferred applications. If anyone get further correspondence pls update....

I think files being transferred to london is not a new thing. Someone I know who Came to Canada beginning of 2013 said her file was also transferred to london when she applied in 2011 and she mentioned total time was 14 months - from the day they mailed out the application to the day she received her passport. She said files were transferred because of high volume of files in Pakistan...

14 months is wayyyy better than 32 months! There is hope!

Absolutely 14 Months is amazing looking at 32. Let's hope for the best friends. May Allah help us all in extra speedy processing of our cases. There is a lot of challenge getting settled in Canada after the case as well. The sooner the better though so we can save alto of time.

Hi, I am Tamana from Afghanistan,
I have submitted my passport along with passport size photos to Canadain embassy to Islalamabad on 28 of January 2014 via a post office, still i havent heard anything back from the embassy, at first they told me that if i sent passport they will issue me visa in 4 to 5 days but now its one month that there is no news of my visa neither my passport. Anyone knows anything about this plz plz help and give information.

My consultant in Canada told me that london VO should get back in 3 to 4 Months. With that Information I think you should hear some thing by end of this month and I should hear some thing max by end of June. Lets see. I really hope they handle our case in 10 Months or so.........

Hi. Thanks for the update! Even I applied in October and its been almost 5 months to my submission! Does your consultant know anything regarding Pakistani applications' timelines in CHC London? Since we are in a unique situation, its difficult to tell if the 10 months timeline applies to us. It would be helpful to get information from some professional.

Well the consultant did say that they will take 4 to 5 months in getting back to you from London VO now this is as per their experience. However as you know no one can be certain... lets hope for the best only and keep praying for success.

Hmmm 5 months already I really hope you hear some thin soon.... and me 2.... this wait is not good. Getting stuck in the middle. I had to leave an opportunity in UAE and a great one because my original degrees are still with em. This is unfair..

Please do update as you hear any thing. I am walking behind you as far as our process is concerned

guys does our time start from when it was sent to Islamabad ? or when it was transferred to London? If it starts from Islamabad then its been 6 months for me
