but in ur case it wouldn't be of much help cuz there won't b much activity in ur case since u only recently submitted ur application.... i would wait atleast another few months to order it

I am in the same boat as you guys are….mine was sent to London on 24th Oct. And I am assuming that’s when the very first batch was sent.

I am visiting my husband next week. Once back, I’ll be sending a case specific enquiry to LVO, as our co-hab dates will change, with additional pics, my travel details, our phone bills and a letter from my employer stating that I took time off to meet my spouse back home.

This might lead to my file be pulled for an update, and this can ring the bells for them …FINGERS CROSSED

I am going to do the same. I visited my wife back in Karachi. I will send them all my travel details. Hope they speed up the process.

I heard they dont consider any document which is sent without their request. Some ppl get the additional documents request at the time when they start processing the application after a long time duration. Are you guys sure they will receive and put these updated proofs in your application box???

Hi everyone!

Similar case happened to me! My wife is in Afghanistan and I sponsored her on September 06, 2013 and I received a letter On September 24, 2013 that my application has been sent abroad (Islamabad, Pakistan) for further processing!

Last week, On January 27, 2014 I received another similar letter like the previous one saying that my file has been transferred to New Delhi. I hope that they now apply the processing time for New Delhi on my application?!

I know that this is a London thread, I'm sorry to jump in from no where but I just wanted to share my case with you guys which I thought was Kinda similar.

I hope everyone gets their files processed as quickly as possible InshaAllah!

If your file was transferred in Oct then it might be a good idea now to order notes. If the London timelines do apply to us, they should have looked at your file by now i.e. after 4 months i.e. IF the London timeline of 10 months applies to us.

can u guys please tell me what are "notes" for? How do u order them from CIC and what is it for?? ???

I got the transfer email on 24th oct, so I don’t count October in.

For the notes, I think I wud wait another 3 months before I expect to hear something from CIC. I have been following the London thread very closely. And all the NON-visa exempt cases are processed slower than the regular cases

I might panic after crossing 7th or 8th month, no earlier than that. Becoz even if our files are PROCESSED in LVO, the background checks will still be done in Pakistan and that’s what takes about 4- 5 months extra.

In the London thread there’s a guy JIM, he’s a retired visa officer, and according to him the factor that contribute in adding a few extra months to our processing is security and criminality checks.

For all the applicants who recieved a letter saying that their file was being transferred to London or Delhi from Islamabad, have you seen your status change on ECAS from APPLICATION RECEIVED to IN PROCESS?

I just checked my ecas now and there is no change in the status All it says is that application have received and medical results have been received and its like that since Septmber 2013!!

Btw my file recently got trasnferred to New Delhi i.e. January 27, 2014 so I will give sometime to expect some changes.

What is your story? when did your file get transferred ?

Makes sense then. Better to order the notes 6 or 8 months after the transfer.

All of us London 'transfers' should keep in touch and let others know of our timelines.

Your status won't change till a VO actually opens/reviews your file which would be months after it is received. Though, once it changes to In Process, things move on pretty fast from there.
