but again April is not that old how come his views are changed in couple of months and what relief do you really think he is willing to give to Pak nationals ... to what extent do you not think he will make sure the security & bg check ? and to what extent this will not breach the immig timelines. Just a fruit for thought!

Like who the heck sent the files to London to be processed. It was him as new Immigration Minister. Like people if your from Pakistan my best info I can give you is learn about Canada, its Government, Policies and the knowledge of the land. Think about this for a second Pakistan could fit in the province of Quebec TWICE and your not done with the other provinces yet. So my advise to all of you Immigrating to Canada take the time to learn as when you become a Canadian Citizen you are asked these questions from the first Prime Minister to all about Aboriginal People and the all the important info about Canada... In Sha Allah

If you can show ties of your husband to home country, he may get the visit visa. Given it takes so long to process, CIC does issue visit visa to applicants where the sponsorship application is in process.

If the visit visa is refused, it will not have negative impact on the sponsorship application as long as you do not contradict information on two applications.

I would definitely give it a try!

I applied for a trv as well in september 2013. Got rejected. It took a month to get a reply from them.

Yes you can. But i think looking at lvo spreadsheet, january cases are still under process so you can still wait for 2 or 3 months, i hope u will hear from them soon in sha Allah
