SPOUSAL IMMIGRATION - File transferred to London Office from Islamabad

Back from pakistan. Received an email from mps office.

Immigration people told them that my file is gone for a procedural fairness review.

What is that? How long does it take? Anyone know?

Just wanted to update everyone here.
I got to the airport a couple of hours before the flight landed to talk to CBSA. One of the officers assured me that everything is available electronically so it's not really an issue. So in the end, she came out without any problems.. she told the customs officials that she didn't bring her landing papers and they just printed out another copy for her.
She had a bit of an issue during her layover in London though. The custom officers almost sent her back to Pakistan from there because they figured she will get sent back from Canada.
Anyway, she is here now and thanks for the people who provided advice and all the best to everyone still waiting for their spouses.

I had a question about holding dual passports (Canadian and Pakistani).

Is it ok to travel from Canada to Pakistan on a Pakistani passport and then return to Canada on a Canadian passport? I know there is the option of getting the NICOP card, which I do not have at the moment. I need to travel on short notice hence the question. I do not have a Pakistani visa on my Canadian passport.

Yes it's ok to travel on oakistani passport and back with canadian passport...that's what I do when I go to pakistan ...

It should be ok, i used to do the same. Just make sure that your pakistani passport is still valid when you are entering Pakistan and when coming back from Pakistan. Otherwise they wont let you come back (I almost ended up in this situations)

When you enter Pakistan, I assume, you get your Pakistani passport stamped for entry to Pakistan.

What about when you leave Pakistan on your Canadian passport, do they put the exit stamp on the Pakistani passport or Canadian passport?

I am just curious because some people advised that you should get the entry and exit stamps on the same passport.

It should be ok, i used to do the same. Just make sure that your pakistani passport is still valid when you are entering Pakistan and when coming back from Pakistan. Otherwise they wont let you come back (I almost ended up in this situations)

dont know exactly. To me it sounds like some sort of quality control process that every office has. I wish they did that a little more often.

Entry or exit stamp will both be on your Canadian passport. Pakistani PP will just work as your entry permit in Pakistan like your Visa or Nicop.

I recently went to Pakistan on Pakistani passport and they stamped Pakistani passport on arrival and when I came back they stamped my Canadian passport... so no worries.....

Entry or exit stamp will both be on your Canadian passport. Pakistani PP will just work as your entry permit in Pakistan like your Visa or Nicop.

Canadian passport wont be stamped on arrival until and unless you have a valid nicop......

just wait 2 more months tops...by the way did u get re-medical request? when did ur medical expire...
