anyone knows how long does it take to get the passport back from Islamabad office.. they said it will be return within 2 weeks with visa.. i havn't got anything...

For the umpteenth time.... no body knows how long it will take.... n e where from 2 weeks to 6 months... there was even someone on here that got theirs back after one year!

I have the same case did you hear back any thing from CIC as yet ? I called CIC call Center and they told me I need to contact London Office as my file transferred to London. I have sent an email to London almost a month ago but haven't heard back any thing from the.

Dont loose hope... I am exactly in the same situation as you are. Even i ordered notes and there wasnt a single thing done by that time. So i suggest you to visit your husband or plan a vacation together. That would atleast help you get out of these worries for a bit. Rest we can all just pray.

As I can see some people are getting passport requests of same timeline as mine
But I'm still waiting for additional doc request even my case to b in process
Coz e status is file received
It's husband case I'm so depressed it's like my husband is never gonna get visa plz don't suggest me "notes"coz I don't want to do anything now
Just want to ask plz pray for me too

-My Ecas changed to DM on Nov 17th
-I got email to send passport visa is ready to Issue on Nov 18th
-We send passport on Nov 20th
-Islamabad received on Nov 21st
-When can I expect it back ?

Also my husband send return envelop can we some how track if it was mailed by Islamabad?

Hi Guys,
Here's my timeline (Husbansd's Case)

Application Received on January 22, 2014
File was sent to LVO on February 27, 2014
First Medical was done on November 19, 2013

Got two e-mails on November 17, 2014
They asked for additional documents, police certificate and re-medical within 60 days
My ecas changed "Application Received" to "In Process" on November 18, 2014

omg thats good news! I just wish I would hear something soon! its all silence from LVO for me. and they received my application on Jan 21. idk if i did something wrong that I havent heard from them yet

do cic send police clearance renewal with medical request ,or for some applicant they only send medical and no police clearance renewal because they are satisfied with their old police record.

Sometimes they may require medicals a long with police clearance certificate. Most of the times, they only require medicals. From my understanding, police clearance certificate would not be accepted if it was issued more than three months prior to filing an application. For instance, if you file an application on December 1, 2014...your police clearance certificate issue date cannot be older September 1, 2014.

Some other people did receive email responses to their enquiries from LVO but i did not have any luck either. According to their automated email, they should get back within 30 business days, so i am waiting for that now. What is your time line?
