My baby is Canadian by Birth but we have added it in my immigration too.How much time do you think they will take now for my baby medical? I m so much upset. .

Visiting the forum after many weeks. My wife got a re-medical request today via email. They did not ask for any additional documents.
It was an automated message. Application status still says "Application Received". But I guess that will change once they receive the medicals
again.

How do we register for the medical appointment in Karachi? Phone or via email.

Any ideas how long will it take.

Got mail from ADVO for re medical guyz ........ my medical isn't expire yet I did my medical in 23 december 2013 and got thz mail today before it expired ........ can I know wat tha hell is wrong with ADVO ?

In order to process the cases on fast track and keeping the processing time of your cases to minimum, these advance notices are being sent. Once you will be contacting IOM for medical check up, they will give you a date which will after the expiry date of your previous medical. You should expect very low activity of work at LVO from Dec 20 to Jan 04 because of the holiday season.

hi all, need help

my wife received the visa like i had told you.
my son who was born in pak his Canadian passport was needed. they really helped me out and in week passport was issued. now they have high commission Islamabad told me that passport was issued last friday and is in the mail. do you guys know what courier service these Canadian offices use?
how long will it take for them to send the passport from canada to Islamabad Canadian high commission so i can go and pick it up? any idea?

Canadian High Commission sends the passports through TCS and mostly it is done without any delays. It was nice to know that you got the Canadian Passport of the baby. For my guidance, may I know when was the baby born and how much time it took for issuance of passport. What were the supporting documents you sent for getting this passport.

Answers: a.: Yes possible, when I applied Citizenship of my first child we got 12 months wait period and got it in 10 months, whereas for our second child they gave us 12 - 18 months and we got his card in exactly 4 months.
b. Yes possible, infact you have to apply for your child citizenship card and limited duration passport simultaneously. You will get the passport within a month on which your child can travel along. For the card you can later ask CHC Islamabad to send it to your new address i.e. in Canada.
c. No need for Canadian visa on Pakistani passport since your child is born Canadian citizen.
d. No, LVO has nothing to do with that unless your child's current residence is London, so again no need for this simply apply for citizenship card and limited validity passport.

Hello everybody can anyone tell how LVO Is processing the cases some case are finalizing from early 2013 and some of late 2013 but I hevent heard anything since June 2014when they transfer my husbad's case from ISL to LVO I applied in June 2013 don't know what's going on
I contacted only once when I told them about my visit to Pak and now I wound tell about our baby who is a month old is it not good not to contact them again and again and. Not to ask about status of application ?

Probably applications of July & August are being processed at LVO which means in routine your file should have been processed by now. I recommend sending email to LVO and also order of the "Notes" to know the latest status of your case

You can call the IOM number or email them for the appointment. You cannot get the appointment in person ... either call them or email.
