There are NO forms that both the sponsor and applicant need to fill out. The sponsor's forms and the applicant's forms are separate. Just check the CIC website and it should be easy.

I'd suggest sending all fees at the time you submit the application package to CIC-M. It will help reduce delays. For China applicants, they are required to submit ALL documents (medicals, police clearance, etc).

Send both the sponsor and applicant forms + supporting documents + proof of relationship docs at the same time to CIC-M. They will do a quick check to ensure all forms are completed and signed...then your application package will be put in line awaiting a VOs decision. Once that is done, the file will be transfered to the VO abroad for the applicant to be screened and hopefully the visa will be issued quickly. I don't know about inland applications.

For specific questions for the various forms, do a search or post a new thread with your question.

Good luck!

Under what category did your boyfriend apply to become a permanent resident?
If you were mentioned on his forms, and/or had to fill in some forms yourself, find out from him what forms they were exactly. It sounds like he declared you on his own PR application - as his common-law partner? - which is good.
If he declared you as his common-law partner and is expecting you to immigrate with him, this is possible. But for more info from us you will have to find out what forms he sent in.
If he is immigrating by himself, then once he gets a PR visa and 'lands' in Canada, he can then sponsor you as his common-law partner if: 1. you two have been living together for at least one year, and 2. he declared you as his common-law partner on his PR application.

If you are just boyfriend/girlfriend, and have not been living together, then he cannot add you to his own application for PR, and he will not be able to sponsor you right after he lands. He will be able to sponsor you later if you later get married or live together for one year.

You are not Family Class applicants. Your boyfriend applied under one of the Economic Classes (skilled worker, provincial nominee, etc.) and included you as his dependent common-law spouse. Fees for these applications must have been paid when they were submitted. No sponsorship applications are necessary in your case because he is not sponsoring you. You are a part of his application for his own permanent residence. When a decision is made on his case, if it is approved, you will BOTH become permanent residents of Canada at the same time. You are looking in the wrong category for answers to your questions. You need to find out from your boyfriend which class of immigration to Canada he applied for and then do your research in that area. Good luck.

We only got it wrong because you didn't provide enough information. You are still NOT a family class applicant. He's applying for PR as a refugee. Conjugal partners are not dependents in this category. Sorry.

Once he 'lands' in Canada and becomes a permanent resident, he can sponsor you. Conjugal class is much more difficult to prove than either common-law or married, though.
