. . . and born IN Canada? or not?sammystorm19 said:are either parent Canadian Citizens?
As you know, at least 1 parent must be residing in Canada as the sponsor during the entire application processing of your child. If the baby is American citizen, then you should be able to bring her to Canada with a visa-exempt USA passport.Abdel279 said:Both parents are PR from Egypt, and the baby was born in US
Yes I know and she is now with me in Canada, but are you sure of $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee? What if I paid less or over the required amount?Rob_TO said:As you know, at least 1 parent must be residing in Canada as the sponsor during the entire application processing of your child. Fees for PR should be:
$75 Sponsorship application (per application)
$75 Principal applicant who is under 19 years of age, unmarried and not in a common-law relationship
$490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee
The amount quoted is correct. If you pay more they will refund the extra. If you pay less they will return application as incomplete.Abdel279 said:Yes I know and she is now with me in Canada, but are you sure of $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee? What if I paid less or over the required amount?
Actually I see the RPRF is not required for dependent child of sponsor: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.aspAbdel279 said:Yes I know and she is now with me in Canada, but are you sure of $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee? What if I paid less or over the required amount?
