My parents did write a letter up...actually I wrote it up and they signed it since their english isn't as good. It was about a page long typed. My sister edited it, lol and included my parents phone number in case they had any additional questions. The letter states that we are welcome to stay at their home as long as we need to.
I know they won't charge us rent for sure but I will definitely be paying them something. This is the reason why they aren't selling their house yet cause so when we move there we can stay with them. They have a 4 bedroom house and only my parents living there. They want to downgrade but not until we move back and don't need their house anymore to stay at.
I remember being 4 months pregnant w/my first child when I was in China in 2005 and couldn't stand the smell of the fuel from mopeds and also people smoking everywhere, including in the malls. And trying not to breath too deeply, knowing how bad it was for the baby, lol.
I can imagine that it's exactly how you described w/the pushing people, etc. That's good someone told him to light out the cigarette.
I can't wait for the good food too when I get back to Toronto. Food always comes to mind when I think of Toronto cause I can't get alot of the good food I love there, over here. All those good Greek food, Chinese food, Jamaican food and everything else like poutine that I can't get over here or if I can, it's not good.
Looking forward to the first news from CIC, hopefully a good one ofcourse. Your new job sounds like it's going to be very exciting. That's a good idea to have a zero free rent written up between my parents if they request anything additional about proof of intention to move. Also I can get some info about the school my kids will be attending which is the same school I went to as a child.
