Sponsorship question about Notice of assessment

In the online checklist it clearly says send in your employment letter, notice of assessment OR equivalent document from cra.

I see that people are saying their package is returned to them if they only have the notice of assessment and not the option c paperwork. If they require option c maybe they should specifically say that in the checklist.
I'm quite pissed because I only sent the notice of assessment to cic. I sent the package in this month. So does that mean that I will be receiving a returned package because of that???

They clearly ask for what they want specifically so why isn't option c part of the check list???

i don't think they send it back because of NOA, maybe there is other reason why... my spouse sent option c, some of applicant sent NOA they don't have problem at all.. just relax
