My fiance and I are both originally from Pakistan. I live in Canada and have Canadian Citizenship while he lives in Spain and has Spanish permanent residency. We need advice with regards to the country where we should get married that would help in the process of immigration to Canada. Would it better to hold and register the wedding from Canada, Spain or from Pakistan. In case we get married in Pakistan, both of us would return to our current countries Canada and Spain after the wedding. In this case, if we were to get married in Pakistan, what would be our legal process? What would make the immigration process easier?

I am very confused. I would really appreciate any advice :)

It makes no difference in which country you get married. If members from both of your families can attend with the wedding being in Pakistan, then that is somewhat better as it shows that each of your respective families knows of and accepts the marriage. Take pictures at the wedding, the reception, and any gathering otherwise related to the wedding ie casual rehearsal/rehearsal dinner etc. The application process (outland application for you) will require all of the same forms regardless of where all this takes place.
