Spanish Fiance Question

I am Canadian, and my fiance is from Barcelona, SPAIN. We have been dating for 2 years 8 months and have outside Canada TOGETHER for 2 years and now I am moving back to canada and wondering what would be the best way for her to come along with me. We plan to get married and live in Canada.

What would work best, fastest time?

1. Does she come to Canada on a tourist visa,we get married in canada and then apply inland
2. Is it better for her to come to canada, get married and apply from Barcelona Spain (outland)
3. do we NOT get married in Canada - let her apply outland first and wait for her PR
4. If she applies inland can she go back to Spain while under process

1,2 - It will most likely be faster if you apply outland. Spain residents go through the Paris office, which is one of the quicker ones.

3 - Are you guys in an official common-law relationship (12 months of continuous living together), and can prove it? If so you can apply immediately from Spain. If not you need to become common-law, or get married. You dont need to get married in Canada, you can get married anywhere in the world.

4 - If you apply inland, the applicant should prepare to remain in Canada during the entire processing time. This is another reason to apply outland, where you can travel in and out of Canada no problem.
