ı am really mıxed and ı would lıke ur help...
ı am canadıan lıvıng out of Canada(ı lıve ın turkey wıth my hubby-he ıs turkısh and ı never lıved ın Canada although ı have canadıan Cıtızenshıp..) and we want to go to Canada..so ı must sponsor hım....ı thought ıs not too dıffıcult to become a sponsor at ur spouse such as we can prove the orıgınalıty of our marrıage....and that we lıve together under the same roof more than one year....anyway today someone told me that ıs not that easy and that they may reject me....(we are not crımınals we do not have debt ın The canadıan State.ı refer thıs because ı thought these are the most ımportant reasons to reject u)

ıf ı dont have enough money to show to th Cıc or ı dont have someone to gıve me a shelter or ıf ı dont have a job ınvıtatıon(thats what she saıd ıs a must to accept u as a sponsor).....really ı am dıssapoınted..ı dont know what ıs truth what ıs lıe....ı mean how they can refuse me to go to my country sponsorıng someone (my hubby partıcularly speakıng)because ı dont have a job ınvıtatıon or someone doesnt gıve me a shelter?

As I Canadian citizen living outside of Canada you need to prove that you will move to Canada and how you will support yourself once you are there. They want to make sure you won't move to Canada and live off of social assistance/welfare and your husband as well. So what the person told you is pretty much true.

Some things they will accept:
A job invitation
A lease/purchase of a home
Acceptance to a Canadian university/college
Notarized letters from family saying they will support you until you find a job/accommodation

(Not sure about this, it would be great if someone else offered input - bank statements showing you have a lot of money to support yourself until you get on your feet???)


One option for you may be to move to Canada yourself, find a job and a place to live and then sponsor your spouse. I'm not sure about Turkey's visa requirements but it is possible that he could go with you and stay in Canada but he won't be able to work for awhile (until you establish yourself, apply plus another 8 months or so). Or you could go without your husband and apply outland - he would stay in Turkey and come to Canada once it is approved.

There are no minimum income requirements for a spouse, so you wouldn't need a high paying job - but enough to be able to support yourself and your husband without government assistance.

(This is all to the best of my knowledge but I'm by no means a senior member on here and would appreciate it if everything I said is correct. I don't want to mislead her.)

the only that ı can prove ıs that ı wıll have some money wıth me...from a bank statement...ı cant fınd job from Turkey ı wıll fınd movıng to Canada...thıs ıs very logıcal ıts not that easy to fınd someone and hıre u from net!!!!secondly ı thınk we are not obblıgated to have someone to gıve us roof...maybe we dont have relatıves there or they dont want to gıve us shelter...ı mean my country refuses me to go and lıve there? talkıng about me the only ı wıll have ıs money...nothıng more nor ınvıtatıon nor roof....((and wıth thıs money ı wıll support my hubby tıll ı start to work...the procedure wıll become outland of course

You don't need to have family to offer you a place to stay.

You can also provide rental/lease/property purchase agreement.

Canada isn't refusing for you to go and live there. You could go move there tomorrow with no problems. There are just a lot of requirements before you can sponsor someone else to go live there.

You should try to show more than just the bank account balance since you will also need to prove to CIC that you do in fact plan to return to Canada once his PR has been approved. How are you going to find an apartment / place to live (either rent or buy)? If you plan on working with an agent, then contact an agent now and start discussing what you will be looking for and approximately when. You can then include this as proof in your application. Same goes for employment. Have either you or your husband started to reach out to potential employers in Canada or doing any research on this front? Again, being able to show something would be good. Can you open a Canadian bank account from where you live today? Once again, that would be a good idea if at all possible.

I'm not sure which form or checklist it is on but somewhere it lists what the CIC expects for "Proof of Intent to return to Canada."

You should provide this evidence with your initial application. This will cause the least problems / delays for your application processing.

While this is a good start but you should try and do as many things as scylla suggested. Every visa officer is different and it is up to them. You need to gather as much quality evidence as possible.

I don't think creating a fake job offer is necessary. Having a job offer is good if it's real. But providing any fake information would reflect that you may be lying in other aspect of your application.
List your and your husband's ability of finding a job in Canada. Show them your education and possible work experience and certificate that will enable or improve your chance of finding a job in Canada. Print out possible job listings that you and/or your husband will apply.

I am assuming this is an outland application.

These are actually real question for you and your husband. How are you going to financially support yourself once you moved back to Canada? You need to have a plan and show that to CIC.
