By the mercy of God, I am happy & humbled to share with brother Rossie and other fellow members that my parents+sibling case is approved. Almost two decades of journey in the making to this day. My timeline is noted below. My sibling is well above 19, and dependent on family due to a disability since birth. So I've gained medical knowledge along the way as it relates to immigration through extensive research of my own. If anyone has a case with the similar situation, I will be happy to share what I've learned. Due to a lot of uncertainty and some delays in our case, I comforted myself by contacting MP office multiple times. Although, they can't expedite your case, but they were kind enough to obtain updates for me as to where my case is. I also applied for GCMS notes about 7-8 times, more after the medical stage to know what was going on. With unlimited hours on the net trying to figure out the process, I believe I've some decent understanding of the process behind medical, criminality, and security checks. I will try to write up on this topic sometime in future. Our visa office was London and applicants resident in Pakistan. Through GCMS notes, I observed that officers in London visa office are very experienced and competent. A truthful case should not see any problems. They are diligent enough to ensure they are giving approvals to those who are safe addition to their soil. Although, there were unnecessary delays, but I thank our officers for doing good work. The delays could be due to their workload. Every time we received a request for documents, a due date (bring forward date) was assigned in the system (60 days typically). Officer picked up our file again typically 3 weeks after the due date (so 60 days + 3 weeks = primary reason for delays). I noted this through GCMS notes. I lived in USA before and struggled through their immigration system for a long time for my own PR and family's. I was reluctant to move to Canada initially after receiving PR but God guided me and I moved to Canada. I am thankful to this soil and love people here. And I am more thankful that after many many tearful nights in USA and Canada, and lonely holidays and weekends, I look forward to reunite with my parents and dear sibling. I write all this to encourage people to be hopeful, pray, keep faith, and ensure your application has truth, then work hard and rely on God. You will see good results in a form that is better for you. I can't wait to have coffee and treats and tim hortons after my family lands. God is great, love you Canada, and prayers for everyone's success who is waiting for their case. Thank you for forum members who corresponded with me outside this forum and gave me hope. God bless you all.
