REQUESTED AGAIN FEBRUARY 23, 2017 AS THEY STATED THEY DID NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING TO DATE!!

are you from a non-visa required country for Canada? If yes, then CIC does not request passport but the copies since you do not need a visa.

No. South Africa
Visa required for South Africans
I think I figured out that it may be because when we applied in January 2015 their passports expired later in the year. So maybe they just need to see they now have current passports?

Please share your detailed timeline with requests you received from london visa office at each stage. Since there aren't many people whose visa office was london, it will really help. Thank you.

Hi everyone, my mom has received her PPR. She should get the visa soon. She will need to travel to Toronto from Mumbai and land by herself. Does anyone know if this is a complicated process? Will it be a problem to do it on her own? Any advice would greatly help!

Yes, this is related to my own parents. The visa was issued on March 9th.
My in-laws will land in May.

Fairly simple.

1. PERSONAL DETAILS -PA (Initial)
2. Charged/convicted of a crime or offence in any country, refused admission to Canada or required to leave Canada? (Answer + Initial)
3. Have you any dependents other than those listed below? (Answer + Initial)
and finally:
I hereby certify that the above statements are true and correct........

Wondering if anyone can please guide / help.

Applied in Jan 2015.

Medicals done in August 2016.
PCC submitted via email in January 2017.

And since then no update.

I read few posts where landing or other fees were requested.

Can anyone please by when I should expect the next update and for what?
