It could be as fast as 2 days or late as 2 months, but I would give it a week or two at least. It also depends, whats your "review of eligibility" status, is it still under "review in progress" or "passed"?

I am still unable to link my application to my account, today I see change in ECAS last update date to 25/09/2016 it was 25/08/2016.
Status is still same saying "received medical"
Does it mean anything?

Review of eligibility is still "Review in progress"

I think lots ppl are the same situation, BTW i think you meant PCC not PPR. PPR (Passport request) will be the last step.
Keep your finger crossed, hopefully CPC-Ottawa will send PPR in bulk.

Yes I meant PCC. Thank you for your reply Bud.

Review of eligibility will remain at "Review in progress" until everything else passes. This eligibility refers to overall eligibility (medical, background etc.) of the PR applicant (parents).

My mom received PPR on Sep 12. But both her background check and review of eligibility still show "in-progress".

Congrats to everybody who have received their PPR.
I finally received my PCC yesterday and sent it to SVO today. Never understood why the Malaysian police took so long. The only outstanding thing is a repeat X-ray that has to be done for my wife after 13 October which should be ok.

My CIC status is as follows:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Review in Progress
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

I suppose it will change a few days after my PCC reaches them. Hopefully, I will get a decision from SVO by November.

You will get it soon, no worries.

Re: your mom's stay permit, have you already extended it? My mom's stay permit was expiring 31-Oct-2016 and her SV & PP were expiring in Jan, 2017. Luckily, she got a 2-year stay permit this July while coming back to Canada with a new PP after a trip to home.

My mom will not extend her visitor record, our entire family will go back to Thailand for 3 weeks at the end of the year.
My mom will leave Canada first at the end of November regardless, the rest of us will fly back on Christmas Eve's. Hopefully she get the passport request soon, so she can land here before she leaves.
We are hoping that everything will be done by mid January, so she can return to Canada with us.

Her CIC was updated 5 minutes ago ( I checked every 30 minutes.. LOL) Her medical result now shows PASSED!!

Here's her CIC status:
My CIC status is as follows:
Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results PASSED
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Review in Progress

Fingers crossed!!

Does anyone know name and email address of CIC program manager in London office?
Google spits out the name from 2012 listing which is changed now as sometimes it gets updated every year. So I'm looking for the updated information from 2016 or 2015.

It is a very good movement to have medical updated to Passed. I assume SVO is well aware of the fact that your mom file is now ready to be finalized. Good luck! Hopefully her PPR from SVO will come very soon and you just have to do stamping and landing.

Hi Broham,

We have exactly the same status in MyCIC. Where is your visa office? Mine is Manila.

Hope we hear from CIC soon.

Thanks,

We filed for my parents in 2015 and we recently heard back file has been moved to Delhi. My parents are here with me on Super Visa.

If their Passport Request comes and if they are in Canada do they need to go back to India for stamping?

Can we request New Delhi if we can submit passport here in Canada for stamping?

Please advice.

My Parents just received Passport Request. yahhhhh.. Ottawa is moving
