Still waiting for in-laws.. Medicals was 10 days apart so hopefully in next 2 weeks i should hear something for them as well.

I was asking because you never updated your parents' info about getting medical request (vividind #1) in the SS.

We filed for my parents in 2015 and we recently heard back file has been moved to Delhi. My parents are here with me on Super Visa.

If their Passport Request comes and if they are in Canada do they need to go back to India for stamping?

Can we request New Delhi if we can submit passport here in Canada for stamping?

Please advice.

In a PPR email/mail, LVO normally address this issue. Here is a section of our PPR email sent by Singapore-LVO:

Residents of CANADA
If you have a mailing address in Canada and all your accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three (3) months, you may submit your passport(s) and photos to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa (“CPC-O”). You are required to send your document(s) together along with a copy of this letter by mail or courier to the following address with the additional following document:

• A self-addressed, pre-paid Xpresspost envelope from Canada Post.

Purchase your prepaid letter-sized (32 x 24 cm) Canada Post Xpresspost envelope (Regional if you live in Ontario or Quebec; National for other provinces and territories), at any Canada Post retail outlet.

Complete the mailing label showing your full mailing address in the “Deliver To” field. Make a note of tracking numbers for each envelope.

Enclose this envelope along with your documents and a copy of this letter.

You can purchase a Canada Post shipping label on line at:

I am in same boat from New Delhi office, parents did medical and submitted PCC and paid all the fees back in june 2016, but nothing since then

But recently mycic status for background check changed to in progress, and then the very next day got an email from delhi that my parents need to submit their address and personal history since they turned 18, with military service form for my dad.

There is some movement, but nothing major, we sent those documents only this week, lets see what happens. My idea is, I should get ppr for my parents by October 15th, if everything goes right with the documents that we submitted and no further details been asked, because it should not take that long to send ppr after the background check goes in progress.

Permanent Status changed to In Process. And on my Sponsorship Application there is an update saying they sent me a letter on September, 23.

Just got an email, they are requesting 2011 Option C Print. Why are they asking it? I'm sure we submitted everything!

Hello Friends, just wanted to share that I have received medical, PCC, Schedule, Landing Fee and Travel History form request yesterday from New Delhi oFFICE. We will be sending document this weekend. Just wanted to let you guys know and thank you for your support.

Also someone can confirm if below is the correct address of the New Delhi Embassy where we should be sending these document.

Hi Folks

I have a query about my mom's application for permanent residence. Her visa office is New Delhi and we submitted her Medicals, PCC & Landing Fee in July this year. Her CIC status shows "in Process". However, I can see applicants have started getting the status changed to "medicals received". The reason i am worried is because we submitted the same medical exam that we got done for her in Jan this year for extension of her visitor visa as the medical practitioner had refused to do a fresh medical exam while the existing exam results are still valid. I have also come to know from a friend that new delhi visa office is not considering the visitor visa medical for the purpose of permanent residence application. Please share your thoughts and suggest me if there is a need to do act now.
