I am not favouring anyone, but I STRONGLY believe this is the best way to move forward, whichever file is complete, don't hold on to them for issuing visa, just give them visa and move on,,,,, at least there won't be any back log like earlier days, when parents waited 7 years to get to see their families. That was BS,,,, the old rules were based on date system, like 2010 will get visa before 2011, but then the visa officers are sitting there and waiting for the incomplete applications, so they can get other docs to process them and in the mean time new applications are building up the pile.

I am happy for 2016 applicants if they getting PPR, its very positive.....

I agree, more family reunions and faster is better.
Good wish to all who already got visa and good luck to all who are waiting.

Hello everyone,
Is there anyone from NDVO - 2015 applicants who have received passport requested or visa issued. Just wondering , how long they take to stamp visa and return the passport.

Thanks

Nope. Even 2014 cases of ndvo. Did not get ppr. That seems like most slow office out of all

Hi guys,

My application for PGP got accepted in Jan 2016 (with NOA for 2012, 2013 and 2014),

Got laid off in 2016 , met the NOA for income in 2015 though,

Please let me know, if CIC asks for NOA again,

Ideally I might get a job again, if not what shall I do,

Thanks

Try to find anything to do while searching for another job in your main career. Should not stay unemployed or go on EI. If you can find any job to do you do not need to advise CIC of job changes. But if you become unemployed as a sponsor I think that might trigger the sponsorship ineligibility if they find out. Best of luck.

Isn't there any way to communicate with NDVO and trigger them.

Thanks.

Hi,
I wanted to allay your fears I got let go twice, once in dec 2014 a month before I put my mothers application in. and another time a month before I had applied again for my moms supervise. I was fortunate to find something within a few weeks. My mother just got her medical and police clearance request and I have not been asked for an NOA. I take this positively and think you have not much to worry about. I would still try to find work and begin earning something. Trust me, taking on some part time work will increase your desire to find a full time job and do whatever to seek it. I moved across Canada for mine.
