I also couldn't link my application and tried many times. Very frustrating. Do i need to do this or can the application proceed without having online visibility?

try without entering passport details (i.e. leave them blank)...someone posted this trick on this forum earlier...worked for me

Hi Everyone,

I received this email yesterday (Aug 24) from London Visa Office. I have done the medical upfront. Hoping the next request would be for the Passport.

Thanks

And another question, can i pay the fee on behalf of my mother and just email her the receipt so she can send it to the local visa office? (I am in Canada and she is in the UK at the moment).

Or does she have to pay it and print it directly from the website?

You can do it and also if you know your mom's file information you can submit the receipt on her behalf.
Thanks

Regarding linking application, I asked them and they told me that if the applicant have authorized representative, you can not link application.
Only way to link this application is through paid representative portal, or remove representative.
In my case I am unpaid representative for my parents.
Is there anyone know if an unpaid representative can use that portal?
Thanks

Hello everyone,

I just had a quick question. I'm in the process of sponsoring my husband but let's see he comes here and after couple of years, wants to get a visa for his parents. Does the income requirement only applies to him or is it for the family income, meaning both him and I? This is just for my own curiosity. I'd appreciate it Someone can get back to me on that. Many thanks inadvance.

I'm both my mom's sponsor and rep.

I opened a MyCIC account for her and linked her application to her account.

Interesting, let me reply the email I received and explain them. BTW did you link it to your own account or you created new account for her? I tried both methods.

As I said before, my mom has her own account.

Thank you for your input.

I am not able to use "Filter" in the data spreadsheet.

The SS says "Select 'PGP' from filter menu on top ..."

Please guide in how to get through this step. Thanks

Hi Sameer, Have they asked you to mail the documents? In my case they asked me to email the scanned copy of the original PCC to the email address CPCO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca. I also sent it to the email from which I received the request for submitting the PCC and the RPRF i.e., CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. I got an acknowledgement of having received the email from both these ids.

Hope this helps.
