For FBI clearance certificate, did your mom had to get the fingerprints .. ? I am just wondering where can we get the fingerprints done and also on the application form they are asking for Social Insurance Number..not sure what to fill in that since she is just a visitor.

Since my parents are here with me in Toronto, we went to fingerprint live scan place in toronto. You can google and check for livescan places. They charge arnd $35 and print it on fbi approved form.

You need not write the sin as they are not residents yet.

My mother just went to USA to be with my brother last week. Is there anyone who know if she can get Indian Police Clearance from NY Embassy. She is on visitor visa in USA. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

@MOONGS : did you applied for your mother home country police clearance from the local embassy in Canada

Hello Everyone, I got a sponsorship approval email yesterday and today my e-cas is showing "In Process" in Permanent Residence Application. The weird thing is Sponsorship Application Status is still showing "Application Received". Anyways the good thing is they are moving fast then we expected. All the best to everyone...

Your mom can apply for FBI clearance from US. My parents did get their PCC from India just before they came to Canada in feb.

Yes, you can apply for PCC for india from any indian consulate or the blsindia-usa.

Any One File transfer to New Delhi?
My sponsorship was approved yesterday and file transfer to New Delhi.

Do we also have to submit Canadian Police certificate as my parents live with my 1 and half year before they return last November.

Can we also get the police clearance from local police station in Canada without parents?

Please advise.

Receive a letter this morning from cic website asking for option c print out from 2011-2012-2013 both me and my husband I receive the letter through my email I'm the sponsor. Application received January 5.

Have some few questions:
Who among here have the same documents requested?
why do they ask for 2011 original print out c, I'm on 2015 application I submit notice of assessment from 2012,2013,2014.
just wondering why they ask for 2011 as well. Thanks

For 2015 PGP, you were supposed to submit 2011, 2012 and 2013 OptionC. 2014 NOA wasn't available in the beginning of 2015 and it wasn't required by CIC either. I have no idea how you managed to collect 2014 NOA/OptionC by 5-Jan-2015 and also made to the 5,000 quota.

Was you married when you submitted your sponsorship application? Did your family size change?

Maybe he is looking at the NOA year date (The date it was filed), as compared to the tax year?

Folks....i would like to make an apology with what I have posted earlier I know lots of you got confused with what I've said, I would like to correct my statement I got a letter this morning from cic asking me to submit original option c print out of me and my co-signor for the period of 2011-2012-2013. When I read the 2011 I panicked right away as I thought I submitted the 2012-2013-2014. And wondering why they ask for 2011 which I thought shouldn't be asked, after few hours when I finally compose my self and re-read the letter and get all the sample files I made when I'm filling my application that's when I found out that I've submitted the right NOA which is 2011-2012-2013. Sometimes in life you'll never know when confusion/anxiety attack you. I've learn my lesson now, not to drink too much caffeine as it makes me nervous good thing my husband got a lot of patient on me. ;D ;D

I'm a January 5 2015 applicant- 11:00am batch

Got our SA last May 26. Application forwarded to Manila VO. Happy reading that some already got their MR and RPRF. Hopefully we'll receive ours soon.
